Seeing Isn't Always Believing  by shirebound 226 Review(s)
Frodo BagginsReviewed Chapter: 6 on 7/21/2006
WOw. That was really cool. So like his brother, and yet so different. That was definitely AU, but what if Faramir *had* been sent in his brother's stead, as Denethor later wished? Maybe Frodo would not have left, maybe...there are so many possibilities, no? That was really intriguing. Hannon le. Namarie!
God Bless,
Frodo Baggins

Author Reply: Isn't it fascinating to think about all the "what if" scenarios? Fan fiction is such a joy. :D

*holding sides with laughter, trying not to fall out of chair* Oh...SHIREBOUND!! That was so funny! I never thought of it that way. To think an Elf would be *amused* by a cold! LOL! THey are such annoying little illnesses.
“New and fascinating experiences? Like what?” Frodo asked, puzzled.

Suddenly, from the sickroom, came a thunderous sneeze, followed by an awed “My goodness!”

“Like that,” Aragorn grinned.
That was perfect! LOL! Hannon le! Namarie!
GOd Bless,
Frodo Baggins

Author Reply: Glad you enjoyed this, Frodo! It's nice to write something giggly once in awhile. :D

*contented sigh* Ah, I think perhaps my insatiable desire for Frodo h/c-or rather, Frodo h/cccc-has temporarily been satisfied. :) The second fic in this chapter was very poignant, and the first was irresistably sweet! "Don't stop." What a simple request, and one, I think, that anyone would gratify. These brought a smile to my face.
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: Frodo h/ccccc is such a joy -- to write, and to share!

*hugs*

Love it, love it! I just love the hobbit-pile! I think everyone is glad Baylor started that. And I love the image of Boromir gently laying his cloak over the pile of small sleepers; even then he was protecting them, if only from the cold.
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: "pile of small sleepers"... awwww! You should use that phrase sometime.

awwwwww :D Thank you, QG!

*grin* Aw! I'm so glad Frodo liked them! And Aragorn is really very lucky to have found something to tempt our favourite hobbit; for I can imagine his appetite might be a bit...how shall I say...capricious just now. Wish I could cook for Frodo. :)
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: What fun this was. Bananas must have looked very strange to hobbity eyes.

Yes, Bilbo gave Frodo exactly what he needed. This is a very sweet little story, and I like the gentle foreshadowing at the end.
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: Thank you. I love envisioning the love and attention Frodo must have found with Bilbo, a true kindred spirit.
