A Matter of Honor  by meckinock 322 Review(s)

Oh my, this is such a wonderful story. I've just finished reading the prequel in one fell swoop and was completely drawn in---especially by your characterization and the mingling of the deadly serious with humor. It was utterly chilling and charming at the same time, and now THIS story makes me long for more.

I'm a huge, huge fan of Aragorn angst, and this story is just delicious with it . . . the fever, the infection, Aragorn's reluctance to go to Rivendell. And such fine writing---I am very eagerly looking forward to an update!

Author Reply: Hi Lily,
Thanks very much for the review. If you just read the prequel you probably have an advantage over everyone else - it was so long ago I barely remembered it myself! Glad you liked the mix of humor and angst. It feels tricky and sometimes it's hard to keep a balance.
