| Absolutely the best chapter yet! ROFLOL! I could see the whole scene so easily. Poor Legolas! Have a feeling Merry and Pippin should just ride away - far away! Can't wait to see what is next! | Poor hobbitses. Even when they are not trying to get into trouble, they do! A perfectly innocuous let's-teach-the-elf-to-smoke has turned into another catastrophe. And Legolas is not going to feel very well-disposed when he stops being high. Although hopefully he will recognise the difference being their - er - accidental pollution of his noble elven person as opposed to Arwen's deliberate and vindictive fouling of the bubble-bath bandit. Author Reply: Bubble bath bandit! I have to remember that, as it's caused me to giggle madly for the past half hour or so. Poor Legolas. He's going to be so peeved when he wakes up! As for Merry and Pippin, they've run for cover, as any sensible hobbit would. Poor lads. | |

| Oh dear! So, Aragorn put something in the lads' pipeweed? Weed-weed. *snicker* Ooh, he's in trouble now, and Elrond is *not* going to be a happy camper, is he? And Legolas--is he going to be hungover from this? I am afraid I lack familiarity with that. But Aragorn should have thought things through: Merry and Pip sober are bad enough--imagine the two of them high as a kite--what would they *not* have thought of? Author Reply: Well, Aragorn actually had nothing to do with this one. He's still plotting his next act. I was toying with the idea that what would be normal tobacco for the mortals would be the equivilent of marijauna to immortals. Bad, I know, but I promise that I have never taken drugs and never will! I was just playing off the 'high elf' pun. :) I don't even want to think abut high!Merry and Pippin. Although you can see them in the ROTK EE features. Heh. That could be funny. | |
