| Awww! That indeed is a very special wedding gift! As far as I know, siblings have never been good at conveying their softer feelings for one another. | I love the idea of the wedding present. I do think most husbands should come with instructions. It's a grand idea all around. | That was entirely too funny! I loved every word of it. Merry was such a tease which is exactly what I would expect from Merry. | I love the idea of Merry and Paladin sitting there watching over Pippin and Diamond - chaperoning them as they sleep. And the morning teasing is well-deserved - Merry can't tease Diamond, so Pippin has to take it on the chin. It's probably a very good idea to go back to Bag End, but I reckon Eglantine is a hero to agree to it. Author Reply: For some reason, folks just seem to feel they need to watch over Pippin ;) He has a wonderful father and a wonderful first cousin. I think it was very hard for Lanti to not have them with her, to not get to be in the thick of things as she would otherwise. But, in my Shire she's a healer and she would know it is for the best. | LOL!!! Go, Lanti! This chapter was particularly fantastic! I LOVED the teasing the Merry gave his Pippin! I didn't recall so much last time, but I thought it was beautifully done in this one. Pippin's reactaions to Merry's teasing was fabulous, and Merry acted all so naturally--I suppose he's had more experience at ribbing Pip, lol. The scene with Pippin and Diamond (just after the nose bleed, lol) was lovely. I think you can write romance extrememly well! Not too soppy, neither stiff. Exactly perfect. :-) Enjoyed it all! | Oh, that was PRICELESS!! However much Pippin and his sisters might tease or torment each other, it does NOT pay for an outsider to tackle them! I loved Pervinca's gleeful counting to twenty each time, ROFL! And finally, dunking her rear end in the water and then marching her into the middle of the dance floor? No doubt in the minds of anyone there that she had gotten on the wrong side of the Took lasses, and no more than she deserved, the wretched little witch!
