Oh, yes, I remember wanting a wand, after reading the HP books. Though fortunately, I was able to go to Amazon instead of stealing a hair from Galadriel. Enjoyed the idea of Frodo reading the HP books, though all of these HP/LOTR drabbles are making me want to find a crossover story... Author Reply: Well, as I doubt that there are regular deliveries by UPS or FedEx to Tol Eressea, I suspect that Frodo would be forced to create his own wand instead. Heh! This one was just fun to write! Unfortunately Nilmandra, who owns this site, does not wish long crossovers to be posted here, so you may well have to visit FanFiction.net to find a good HP/LOTR tale. I recommend "Not Quite a Maya" by Kara's Auntie! A delightful tale starring Neville Longbottom, Molly Weasley, and Augusta Longbottom!

Took me a few minutes to figure out who the cat was :) Well, if anyone can cook what Garfield wants, it's Sam. I used to think a cat eating lasagna was odd, until I remembered what some of my cats used to eat... Author Reply: Oh, we even had a calico who loved cantaloupe. As for spaghetti, she used to lick the plates while they were waiting to be washed! My grandsons had one of the Garfield collections lying about in the main bathroom, so I found myself reading it one evening and this silly idea started working at me.

Wonderful :) Though I'm not certain whether to say 'poor Gilderoy' or 'poor Minas Tirith'... Author Reply: Can you imagine how the likes of Gilderoy Lockheart could manage to offend the denizens of Middle Earth, much less how underwhelmed people would be by his truly near-squib capabilities? So glad that this collection has managed to entertain you so! Thanks for all of the comments--they keep us writing!

Another satisfying continuation of an end! Author Reply: It was a delight to find a way to see Lupin and Tonks suitably rewarded for their service and sacrifice in that last battle. Glad you, too, found it satisfying!

I am so glad those two were able to meet! Reepicheep always had reminded me of a few certain hobbits. :) Author Reply: I suspect that Reepicheep and Pippin especially would have enjoyed one another's company. Barring that, this meeting simply seemed fated! Heh!

So beautiful and satisfying! Author Reply: Oh, I'm so glad you find it so! Loved trying to find a manner in which even Tom Riddle might find redemption. Thanks so, Kitt!

Nice! I should try such a trick with my scope... the trickier part will be finding a group of people who would get it! Author Reply: Oh, I agree! This one was a delight to write, I found. The Master has had a good deal of influence on how many of us view the universe, at least! Heh! Again, thanks so for enjoying this collection!

And surely Galadriel's hair is more potent than some unicorn's! Author Reply: Wouldn't it be? Heh! Or a hair from Gandalf's beard should do superb! Thanks so!

hahaha, poor Trotter! Like the job wasn't complicated enough already! Author Reply: I loved mixing together elements from two different versions of Tolkien's efforts and seeing how they react when thrust together. I am so glad it made you laugh! Than you so!

Lasagne, excellent! Another world-shattering crises averted by Samwise Gamgee! Author Reply: Well, of course. Who better to meet the needs here than Samwise Gamgee? And it's fun to find a means to work such creatures as Garfield somehow into Middle Earth.
