The Wars of the Valar  by Fiondil 12 Review(s)
KayleeReviewed Chapter: 39 on 9/23/2008
AULENDIL is going to regret it when Namo catches up with him! *scowls* Or he had better. I never thought I'd say this, but poor Curumo...at least, for now. It seems he is genuinely upset about being shoved aside from his duties.

Osse, Osse, Osse...*shakes head* He's going to catch it from Aule, isn't he? *laughs to herself* Rhyselle will know why I think that's funny, Unca' Fiondil. *chuckles* Anyway. I know Namo will have to watch him closely.

"Eonwe of the People of Manwe..." Vindicated by Atar, no less! Yay Eonwe! And here we see where he began his office of Oathkeeper...both the good and the bad. *hugs him*

I hope Fionwe will work off his temper hunting with Orome. Orome's going to be good for him, I'm sure.

Author Reply: Well of course we know that Námo does not 'catch up' with Aulendil/Sauron at all, but that, as they say, is another story. *grin* Curumo of course is still loyal to Aulë and the other Valar and is indeed genuinely distressed by the attack. We must remember that three ages of the sun will pass before he turns traitor.

Eönwë of course is coming into his own and Fionwë will eventually find his way back to where he belongs as well with Oromë's help.

So, it begins, again!(That sounds familiar?)Aulendil is gone, Coroumo has been chased off and Oshosai and Uinen are fighting, again, yes, as if Melkor would have given him control of the oceans, back stabbing, lieing S.O.B.(with apologies to Atar) that he is!
So now Eonwe is official Oath Keeper, an honorable position and one he will do well in, who comes up with the idea of the 'Book'?
I do wish Tolkien has used easier names for his people and would stick to one language, you just get used to them in Quenya and then you have to start all over again in Sindarin or Sylvan or Nandor or some obscure dialect! Arrgh!!!
More please,
(I'm a glutton for punishment!

Author Reply: Oh, I don't know... I rather like the different languages and rendition of people's names. I decided to use "Oshosai" rather than "Ossë" here because I liked the sound of it. *grin* Anyway, more will be forthcoming, never fear.
