A time of joyous cleaving and pain not forgotten but transcended fully at last!

Lovely!

Author Reply: Very true, Larner. And in the end, that's what it's all about, isn't it?

Yea! Finally after all this time they get married, sniffles happily! And Atar sent them Nirmir, beautiful!
So the Halls are finished, I wonder how Namo will feel when he finds his first charges are not Mortal but Elven faer, he will weep bitter tears, poor Namo, one thing he has not forseen!
More please,
Lynda
(By the way what happened to my wedding invite, didn't even get a save the day card!)

Author Reply: Sorry about the wedding invite. There was no time to send one. *grin* Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it nonetheless. We will see soon just what happens when the first Elven fëa arrives in Mandos and how the Valar, or at least this particular Vala, reacts to it. I don't think Námo is allowed to foresee anything personal to him, otherwise he might never have taken the steps he did that led him to where he is now.

At last! At last! That was soooooo lovely!

I'm at work and don't have time to tell you everything that occurred to me while I read this chapter, but I had to tell you how much I love it, from the Valar being inspired to build and complete things, to the symbolism of the gifts that the Valar and Maiar gave to Namo and Vaire, to the ceremony itself. The vows just lifted my heart!

Well worth the wait!

Author Reply: Glad you thought so, Rhyselle. Thanks for letting me know.
