| I love that expression of Sam's as he sits in the boat - he really doesn't look happy. Love Pippin guilelessly putting his foot in it - I think he only opens his mouth so often to change feet! Poor Boromir, he must wonder what he has let himself in for! And sneaky Aragorn, delegating the 'hobbit-sitting' task to Boromir while he took the two sensible hobbits! Author Reply: It must have taken all of the courage that Sam had to get in that boat. It proves how very devoted he was to Frodo. Pippin does have a way of putting the wrong foot forward, doesn't he? That talent of delegating authority is why Aragorn made such a wonderful King! | |

| Here's an idea for you: how about a collection of your disclaimers? They're almost as good as the stories! [Unfortunately, I don't think such a collection would fit in SoA's guidelines. Maybe you could ask for an exemption?] Author Reply: I doubt my disclaimers fit anyone's guidelines. I have embarked on a whole new quest for the oddest prologues. Your Merry and your Pippin are marvellous: Boromir, you take Merry and Pippin.” “Both of them?” Boromir said sounding less than pleased with his lot LOL! | As Sam’s old Gaffer always said there’s nothin’ like a good laugh to chase off your worries. And that's something that Mr. Pippin knows just as well as the Gaffer, Sam. This was adorable! I am so glad you are putting your very own unique spin on the Quest--I love it! Author Reply: Hey, you kept telling me to write Quest and now it seems to be sneaking up on me. I actually have about four Quest fictions to post here! (Most are Shirebound's suggestions. She always gives me something to write even when she doesn't mean to do so.)
