Yes, round two begins. I love how Glorfindel and Finrod finally just decide to go with the flow. I like how you do not make the Vala into Gods and remember that there is someone above them who has a sense of humor. amber Author Reply: Thanks Amber. I'm glad you enjoyed this frst chaper. Yes, the Valar aren't gods and Atar defintely has a sense of humor. *grin* Finrod and Glorfindel are experienced enough and savvy enough not to freak out too much and deal with the situation as they find it.

I'm so glad you have finally begun book two! I'm having this feeling that Finrod and Glorfindel are still in the realm of Tolkien's world, hopefully, just don't have a clue to the time yet. I really have to wonder what the Valar are thinking about the elves who keep badgering them with questions. Thanks for writing! When are you going to update the next chapter and how often? Author Reply: Finrod and Glorfindel are still in Arda, you just have to go back and re-read the conversation the Valar have with one another and what Ulmo says. As for when I will update and how often... I will update when I update, no sooner and no later.

Oh, my! This was a surprise. Don't the silly elves know which plants are edible? [Presumably it's spring in the tenth dimension also, so the bracken would still have some fiddleheads. And if there is no animal life in that place, are there insects? If there aren't bugs to eat the acorns, there might be some unsprouted acorns they could eat; after the winter, some of the tannins would have leached out, so they might be edible without further treatment (I sort of know what I'm talking about). Or of course, they could always eat the insects....] Author Reply: That really isn't the point, though, is it? *grin* You can only survive so long on such things. However, they won't be there long enough to find out.

*takes deep breath* Nearly had a heart attack when I saw the New Chapter/Story Alert e-mail. Still curious as to where they went. Guess all will be revealed in the next chapter. ~Cal Author Reply: Perhaps you should re-read the chapter again, Cal. Ulmo specifically states where Finrod and Glorfindel are. The answer to your question lies in this chapter and in no other.
