Elf, Interrupted: Book Two: Glorfindel's Quest  by Fiondil 14 Review(s)

Pity they can't find a way to get Finrod to slip his leash too, then they could take their 'dead' bodies back to Aman and slip them back in! Still, they do need to find a way to keep Glorfindel's body and soul together, Valarin Super glue?
More please,
Lynda

Author Reply: I don't think your solution would work anyway, but it's an intriguing idea. I'm sure they really need to find a way to get themselves back body and soul. As for keeping Glorfindel's body and soul together... hmmm, hopefully time will heal that particular riff as he grows stronger and matures.

The good news is they have supplies. I suppose the bad news is that they could be there awhile? *snort*

I guess Finrod and Glorfindel will have to put their heads together and start thinking logically on how to get back home. Especially as I don't see any ruby red slippers around the tenth dimension!

Námo really doesn't want them back in his halls, does he? *giggle*

Ces

Author Reply: This is one of those situations where ruby red slippers do not work. LOL And no, Námo really does not want either of them back in his Halls, ever.

The Tenth Dimension, eh? No wonder the Valar don't know how to bring them back! But Eru must...curiouser and curiouser. More, please! Love, Neilia

Author Reply: I'm sure Eru prefers His Children to work their problems out for themselves before directly interfering. We'll have to see.

Well, at least our elves have supplies now!!!!!

And wow, the Flame Imperishable...*shudder*

Glorfindel!!!!!! Glorfi, Glorfi, Glorfi, what have they told you about slipping your leash? *shakes head*

And taking off all your important jewelry! *tsk*

*Hugs her elves*

*Hugs Namo and Orome*

Hope they figure out how to come back, and SOON!!!!!!!

~Kaylee!!!

Author Reply: It probably would have been better if Glorfindel had simply slipped his ring on a chain over his head or into a pocket or something, but I suspect it was a last-minute decision on his part as he was arming, so we can hardly blame him for what has happened. Anyway, I'm sure they will figure it out soon enough how to get back home (otherwise, there's no story! *grin*).
