OMG, you're finally writing again. I was beginning to think YOU had fallen into the 10th dimension LOL! Anyway, glad to see Lindorille's getting better. This was a great chapter and I can't wait to hear about what Sorondil, Oromendil and Gwindor have actually done. (another Reborn causing trouble? Irmo must be sick of them by now, if I were him I'd have gone to Mandos myself by now to get away from it all!) Sorry if this review is too long, but I'm overly enthusiastic because I've had a long wait. Please update asap!

Author Reply: Oh the review isn't long at all. *grin* I didn't drop off the face of the earth, just have been traveling for the last few weeks. We'll be hearing all about what the elflings and Gwindor got themselves up to in the next chapter. Glad you liked this one. Thanks for letting me know. I really appreciate it.

Yay, an update! And even sooner than your e-mail promised! Thank you!

It is only to be expected that after the Tournament the group around our favourite balrog-slayer has to split up and return to their respective homes, but I will miss having everyone around.

I was glad Vánandur was so nice to Beleg! It is so obvious how much Beleg did need someone like him, poor guy.

What an idea to send Glorfindel to Nienna, too. Aldundil, Vorondil, Ingwion *and* Glorfindel would be more than any Valar could handle, no matter how many Maiar are around to help! *grin*

Ah, good - Lindorillë is on the path to recovery :) Well done, Finrod!
And the idea of Glorfindel teaching tricks to the elflings left me howling with laughter! Ah yes, he would have tremendous fun with that! Though I get the impression the elflings are able to get into a lot of mischief even without him.

Of course you realise that I am dying to know what Indil is relating now??

Author Reply: Thanks, Kitty. I'm gald you enjoyed this chapter. All good things come to an end but even though everyone is going their separate ways I'm sure they'll be back together soon enough. As to what Ingil has to tell them.... that's for the next chapter. *grin*

As usual, it didn't take longer than the first sentence to have me completely hooked.

Hmmmm, Glorfindel threatening the Maia - what will he do next I wonder?! Never a dull moment when he is around, that's for sure.

I always love it when you write of elflings and the things they do - what amusement (and consternation!) they bring to their elders! And I do hope you are going to let Ingil continue on with the story?

Hope you enjoyed your vacation and glad to see you back!

Ces

Author Reply: Actually I think Glorfindel was threatening the Valar, but that's a minor issue. LOL

Never fear. The next chapter will be devoted entirely to Ingil's tale about the "Great Paint Job Incident".

I've enjoyed my trip for the most part (still on it in fact for at least another day and a half) but it will be nice to finally settle for a while. I will be updating my other stories over the next week as time permits.

Excellent chapter - I wasn't even psst the first few sentences when I realized this!

I was saddened over the comment about the tent city and orcs... a sad state of affairs that such beautiful, wondrous beings - sometimes :-) - could have such horrid memeories.

I loved the comment about scraping knees... well said, dear Glorfindel. Though I truly hate it when these two are separated.... 'course, easier for them to get into trouble when they're together... did not the Valar think of that? :-)

The little 'tease' about Sador now has me wondering and concerned for that dear Reborn....

I loved Glorfindel's threat... once he changed his mind... and the Maiar's reaction...

I loved the healing of the little one...

Great chapter once again... glad to 'see' you back!

Author Reply: Thanks, Agape, it's good to be back, though actually I'm not really. *grin* As I write this I am on a ferry on the Baltic Sea still nearly eight hours from landfall. I just decided everyone has waited long enough for an update from me so I decided to put you all out of your miseries. LOL Glad you enjoyed this chapter. Thanks for letting me know.
