Elf, Interrupted: Book Two: Glorfindel's Quest  by Fiondil 11 Review(s)
KittyReviewed Chapter: 36 on 12/21/2008
Impeccable timing - just when I was about to review 'Wars' you had to update EI to distract me ;)

Maybe Glorfindel, Sador and Beleg should have told Vorondil that they had to camp in the rain without tent - that's much worse, after all ;)

The Valar might mean well, but I can understand why Glorfindel is tired of and furious at being manipulated. I'd not take well to being manipulated, either, and I'm probably much more patient than he is at the moment. It's telling that even Nyéreser thinks so. Sometimes I really wonder if that is the right way to achieve what the Valar want. A more straightforward approach might help Glorfindel to trust them more.

Seems they now made sure these two are able to talk privately for quite a while ...

Author Reply: I have the feeling that the Valar are going to regret their approach to Glorfindel, but it will all work out in the end. The next chapter will reveal why Glorfindel and Ingwion needed to meet.
