| ”Let our impossible ellon see that he has nothing on impossible Maiar.” *grins* That only means he is in excellent company, doesn’t it? And I am sure they can learn a _lot_ of mischief from one another. Well, Glorfindel hasn’t gotten into any trouble. Yet. (His sign-painting efforts hardly counts IMO!) But now he is going to be Lisselindë’s teacher in Elvishness 101, he has been _encouraged_ to get into mischief, and Nienna’s Maiar have standing orders to encourage him to do so. To my mind it is only going to be a matter of time before that will result in a truly legendary prank. So is even Nienna going to be taken by surprise by whatever they will cook up? I can just about _see_ Irmo and Námo making their bets already… ;-) Author Reply: I'm sure the Maiar (and the Valar) are holding their collective breaths waiting to see just what Glorfindel ends up doing with Lisselindë. *grin* And I have no doubt as well that Irmo and Námo are indeed making their bets already. It should be interesting for everyone all around. | |

| Oh yes! Just imagine all the trouble those three can get into! Perhaps Glorfindel can start by teaching Lissalinde ribbon work, then they can go on to Mayhem and Mischief 101? Nienna was right though, they did miscalculate, badly, with Glorfindel even if they need him ready sooner than he would have been, for whatever purpose, they should have taken his possible immaturity into consideration! Trying to think up things for them to do, a raid on the kitchens, turning all the furniture upside down, horses in Nienna's work room and the workroom in the stable,(borrowed this one from Larner) painting all the flowers different colours, I am sure they have lots of ideas? More please, Lynda Author Reply: Hi Lynda. I'll have to keep some of your suggestions for causing mayhem in mind. Some of them would require massive cooperation with all the other Maiar making sure Nienna doesn't find out too soon, though I'm sure they would all jump at the chance to help out. *grin* | |

| This was wonderful! Yes, Glorfindel needs to be needed, and I got a kick out of the Maiar recognizing this faster than the Valar... but then, the Maiar also need to be needed, so that makes sense. I'd been wondering about Lisselinde, so I was glad to see her again. I just wanted to pick her up and hug her at the dinner. Hmmm. Just how much mischief CAN a maia and a Reborn get into in two weeks? *Grin* Excellent chapter! Author Reply: Thanks, Rhyselle. I'm gald you enjoyed this chapter. I know a number of people were curious as to what was happening to Lisselindë so I thought it would be fun to put her with Glorfindel and see what happens. Arda might never be the same again after those two get done with it. *grin* And two weeks is two weeks.... | |
