Elf, Interrupted: Book Two: Glorfindel's Quest  by Fiondil 11 Review(s)
SunnyReviewed Chapter: 56 on 5/3/2009
What, no bragging about all the fun he has had? But then, certain kinds of fun are best recalled over a few glasses of wine – or perhaps some of the ale he arranged to have delivered – and only with an audience that appreciates that sort of thing. So I suppose Glorfindel will wait until he has his gwedyr alone before telling about his encounters with the monsters – both the cat-things and the bear-things. Even Elven males would feel the effect of testosterone in their bodies, I think. :-D

Has Lisselindë learned her lesson now? If she hasn’t, yet, I suppose this little adventure has helped a lot. _Now_ she actually seems quite likable. And if she isn’t _quite_ rehabilitated yet, I think being a part of tutoring Glorfindel’s otornor will do the trick, since I am sure they will want a bit of the same fun _he_ had. Well, and the chance of developing their warrior skills. Though if the Maiar aren’t quite ready to take on new pupils as yet, the Valar will ensure that Lisselindë is gainfully employed.

I liked the farmer’s definition of “stupid”. :-)

Author Reply: Well, I'm sure that Glorfindel will brag a little to his gwedyr in private, but at the dinner, especially with the ladies present, I'm sure he decided descretion was the better part of being in polite company. *grin*

I think Lisselindë has learned what she needed to know from Glorfindel and that her rehabilitation is coming along quite nicely. I doubt we'll see her all that much now and I have a feeling that she'll be sent back to Lórien in good standing fairly soon.

I'm glad you liked the farmer's definition of 'stupid'. I thought it rather clever myself. *grin*

Thanks for your review, Sunny. I appreciate it.
