Elf, Interrupted: Book Two: Glorfindel's Quest  by Fiondil 11 Review(s)
SunnyReviewed Chapter: 60 on 5/30/2009
Imagine that! Lauarendil blushing – blushing!!! – at Finrod’s innocent question of how he and Manwen met. Does it have something to do with the Orc that got skewered by Manwen instead of skewering him? I am sure there may be a story here – if the Muse wants you to pursue the idea, that is. ;-)

So the Reborn have their own meeting (I wonder if the once-born get worried at that?). There was that bit about what they should do if the memories of any of the “young” Reborn get too overwhelming, though. And that is something that the Reborn would be better at planning for themselves – not that it is something that _can_ be planned.

And who _will_ be watching the watchers? :-)

Author Reply: Hi Sunny. Perhaps someday Laurendil (or possibly Manwen) will clue me in on how they met, but I suspect it has to do with a certain orc. *sly grin* Manwen is one elleth you don't want to fool with, she can take care of herself.

I'm not sure if the Once-born are aware of the meeting of the Reborn, though I suspect very little goes on around Arafinwë of which he isn't aware. And you are correct, some things, such as overwhelming memories and other "Reborn problems" would be best handled by those who have experienced them and are better able to deal with them.

As for who will be watching the watchers.... that remains to be seen. *grin*
