The differance in attitude is very interesting, I wonder if it varies with how long people have been on Tol Eressea and how well they are doing? More please, Lynda Author Reply: Hi, Lynda. I imagine the difference in attitude has to do with how long people have been on the island and what their personal experiences have been. Those who have been there for a short time, like Laurendil, Gilvagor and Mithlas, are less antagonistic than those who have been there for longer. Glad you liked Beleg's cuss word. I was so happy when I found that there really was an attested word for "food" in Sindarin. | |

| New chapter of EI2? *Before* I leave for Disneyland??? *beams* Yay! (of course, I'm sorry about the internet woes, Atar Fiondil, but this is positively delightful for me because by the time I get back on Sunday it'd probably be too late for me to be awake to enjoy it!) And enjoy it I did! :) it was absolutely wonderful, especially the reactions to the kings, although I have to say I didn't care much for that one ellon's...Gellamion's...attitude. Question: Ciryatan? I thought his original name was Nowë. Or was it Nowë, then Ciryatan which got translated to Cirdan? and you managed to mention ginger biscuits! About your question concerning Cirdan... it made more sense for Olwe to refer to him as Ciryatan which is just a Quenya form of Cirdan, since that is how he is known to most. Very few of the Elves would remember or know his original name was Nowe. I'm glad you found the chapter positively delightful and that you greatly enjoyed it, especially the reaction of the kings.
