| So Laurendil didn’t know that he – and his wife - was supposed to be kidnapped? I am sure he is going to dig until he finds out who is behind that little rumour – and why. (And he will certainly have help.) O, yes. Halmir would certainly never guess who his guests were. He was certainly wrong about the tribal affiliations of Finrod and Glorfindel. Though he was right that Finrod has both Vanyarin and Telerin blood, and while I don’t think you have said anything about Glorfindel’s mother, it might certainly be possible that she might have been a Vanya. Finrod and Glorfindel haven’t gotten into trouble _yet_, but I suppose the trouble was just starting when the chapter ended. Though it seems that it was really Edrahil who was the one who really was in trouble. Bad memories surfacing, perhaps? Author Reply: Glorfindel´s mother was indeed a Vanya while his father was a Noldo, thus he Glorfindel was accounted as a Noldo. Anyway, we will see what the trouble is in the next chapter. | |
