I know I already left you a review for this on FF, but I just wanted to let you know I was glad to see this story posted here also. I'm hearing Mozart's Requiem now too. I listened to the video of Verdi's Requiem, and it works well. It actually gave me a bit of inspiration too. :-)

I feel bad for Arwen, how scared she must be. I'm excited to see how this turns out.

Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. It is so sweet of you to review on both sites.I listened to the Mozart too.I@m delighted if Verdi gave you some inspiration.

I'm sorry for Arwen too. Aragorn's other loved ones appear in the next chapter to suffer with him!

wow, what a powerful and overwhelming start. I love the heavy angst you create and how quick the disaster takes it course. Can´t barely wait for more. Thank you. Lai

I keep hearing two songs - the Dies Irae from Mozart's Requiem and the main title of the movie The Lion In Winter, which features a powerful latin verse with a rather sinister, powerful rhythm.

Anyway, a great and suspenseful first chapter!

Wow, this was compelling. I usually don't go for thrilly doom-type tales, especially when (unless it turns out to be an unexpected AU) you know everything has to turn out all right. Instead I find myself clicking on the back button and just making sure that the story's still in progress!

Arwen noticed how he was fumbling, and knew why. The anguish in her eyes almost caused his heart to break there and then.

!!! (<-that is stunned and admiring silence, which was basically my reaction to the sentence above)

Admirable pacing and style throughout. Thanks!
