| A good look at one of my favorite moments in the Silmarillion. If only Maedrhos and Maglor could have stayed away from the Silmarils; they might have been able to greet Elrond when he eventually comes to Valinor. (darned Oath!) |

Awwwwwwwwwwww....
A lovely drabble series ends with a very poignant moment - love it that Elrond didn't remember his father but still responded to him so strongly, and Earendil's joy was very moving.
