| This was fun. My colleague was helping out Father Christmas at our local Christmas Fair last Saturday and wanted me to give him a white face with flour and a red nose. We had quite a discussion about the differences between Brazillian, American and British Santas. Author Reply: Yes, there are a great deal of differences in how Santa or Father Christmas is portrayed throughout the world. I personally like the Father Christmas image rather than Santa Claus. Here in Germany he is actually called St. Nicholas and is dressed as a bishop. | |

| Oh dear! Oh dear! Oh dear! ROTFL! Open rebellion! The descriptions were even worse than what I was first imagining-- something like that ridiculous outfit Will Farrel wore in "Elf" had come to mind. At least they didn't seem to come with red-and-green striped stockings-- though perhaps those had not come in yet... Author Reply: I am glad I was able to make the descriptions even worse than what you were imagining, Dreamflower. I tried to make them as disgusting as possible. And if there had been red-and-green stockings I think there would have been murder done. *grin* | |

| O.M.G.! What were they thinking? Good on Glorfi for refusing to waer them! I have been thinking about what I would have them wear and came up with:Dark green leggings and jerkin over a dark red shirt, 'leaf' boots and maybe a 'Robin Hood' hat with a feather for indoor wear with heavy green pants and a bright red Parka with white fur trimming plus heavy boots for outdoors. The red Parka because it would be easy to spot in the snow! No reason why the ladies could not wear something similar. That's my two cents! | What was those costumes??? I am consumed with curiosity!! A brass bikini and a brass codpiece?? Author Reply: Not sure what you mean, Sunny. I think the description of the costumes was clear enough. No mention of bikinis or codpieces, brass or otherwise, that I recall. *grin* | |
