| Hm, seems that Melkor is still making his presence felt. Ski suits sound like a good idea, maybe they can get a discounr from the manufacturer for wearing them? Got to save a few pennies some where! Lynda Author Reply: We will see in the next chapter what Glorfindel and the others come up with in terms of an Elf Guide uniform. And of course, as Tolkien tells us, all of Arda is Morgoth's Ring, so his presence is felt even if he no longer exists in this universe. | |

| Considering these will be operating in arctic conditions, ski outfits would be far more appropriate than red and green Hobbit outfits! Heh! As for the monster at Winterdark Tarn--sounds as if the tarn were properly named, at least. Author Reply: Yes, the ski outfits will be more appropriate. What they come up with for a uniform will be revealed in the next chapter. And the tarn was properly named though whichever Mortal gave it its name probably did so without conscious thought as to why. | |

| More than coincidences I am thinking! Loved the Hobbit and Mirkwood reference. Thinking of the Elves, and particularly Glorfindel, as on-going stewards of Creation is a comforting thought.
