| What on earth is Ecthelion playing at? Either he hasn't noticed the silver ring on her hand, he is purposely ignoring it, or the women at the dance were wrong. It appears that the elf Inglor needs to speak with is Ecthelion as he seems to understand flirting quite well. I'm really curious to see how things start to unfold! Thanks for posting this chapter so quickly! Author Reply: Thank-you for that question! You gave me an idea that might get me past this round of writer's block! Thank-you! Ecthelion knew Tuor. He has more experience communicating with mortals than Inglor seems to have. Ecthelion seems to treat Haleth more on her own terms rather than as an Elf with (until very recently) a very much shorter life-span, which is how Inglor relates to Haleth. I'm off to write.
