It's good that all pulled together, and hopefully Merry, Pippin, and Sam will work tirelessly to care for Frodo now that he's safe and recovering from his smoke inhalation and his burns. Author Reply: Yes, now comes my favourite part: the "c" part of "h/c". ;)

This is such a wonderfully hobbity story, I just love it. Dear Pip, and Merry so mature, and Sam so caring, and Frodo so brave, and... *beams* Author Reply: More up now! I'm on a roll! :)

Agape comes to visit. Saw that this is part three. Saw the great reviews for part one. Intrigued. Just here to tell you I am going to begin part one. See you soon. Have some seedcake ready, if you please.

Oh this is nice! I love all the attention Frodo is getting for his heroism-- of course it embarrasses him, but it's well deserved. And I like the way Merry steps up and takes charge at Bag End. This is like the Merry we see in canon, helping Frodo to deal with people. And great news about the updates! I will be looking forward to them! Author Reply: Embarrassing Frodo is a lot of fun, for some reason. ;) Thanks for reviewing!

Please, accept my heartfelt thanks for writing this wonderful story. I've been reading non-stop- and yet trying to pace myself so that it would last a little longer- since chapter 1 of Adrift. Truly, I have thoroughly enjoyed every word- marvelously written! The character development has been stupendous throughout, staying true to the characters within the context of your interpretation. I also love the interaction between the characters- lovely dialogue- and the sensitive, realistic approach to complex relationships and emotions. Simply fantastic work. I will certainly re-read this and stay hopeful for further updates- especially with that cliffhanger you left us with! Please, I entreat you, continue- you still have avid readers! It's been a pleasure. May Goldworthy Author Reply: Thank you so much for the lovely review! You made my day. :) I am a horribly slow updater, unfortunately, but the next few chapters should come fairly fast.

Oh Obelia this is fantastic. But you CAN'T just leave us there!!!!! Author Reply: Thank you! I know, I feel terrible for leaving you with such a terrible cliffhanger for so long. :( Poor Frodo must be in a coma by now... ;)

Ah! Praise him with great praise for his ability to both act and think under such pressure! He's most likely saved the smial with his action of seeking to smother the fire as he did! Certainly he saved Hob. Now, to find out how the fire started! Author Reply: I just love Frodo being heroic. :D

OH! Oh, one thing after another and then a FIRE!! I'm so glad that Frodo was able to save little Hob! Now we know about the "mortal peril" part! And I do hope we get to the bottom of Merry's troubles before too much longer. Poor kid. Adolescence is the pits. Author Reply: Yup, the curse is broken. :)

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful and exciting chapter! I'm so happy to read "good old fashioned" hobbity h/c and Shire doings and anytime you update it's such a pleasure to settle in and read. :) Author Reply: There can never be too much hobbity h/c, right? ;)

Dear me! Frodo's got his hands full, doesn't he? But he's handling it very well. Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Thanks for reviewing! Yes, Frodo got more than he bargained for.
