Well....That was unexpected. Although I do think Lothi is jumping to conclusions. Inayah is a lovely character, and so different from the other women in your stories. She does deserve happiness this time around. I hope Lothiriel can bring her out of her shell. Wonderful as always, and can't wait for the next chapter!

Author Reply: Thanks for reviewing. Inayah was just supposed to just have a mention - but you know how these characters grow! LBJ

I just have a question... does this take place in the FA5 in both Edoras and Dol Amroth???? Because you put that in Edoras it was FA53 and in Dol Amroth FA5... so I am confused.

Author Reply: Sorry, I thought it was plain. Lothiriel is at the end of her life and she is sitting outside Medulseld in FA 53, But she is remembering things in the past so we go back to what happened in FA5. Gradually through the story she will talk about things that happened at other times. Hope this helps.LBJ

I love your stories, and I have been eagerly awaiting this chapter. That last line was superb, I had quite a chuckle. Hope to see more soon! :)

Author Reply: Thanks - I love to give my readers a quiet chuckle. LBJ

Wow, what an exciting story! I especially enjoyed the part about Amrothos being lost in the desert... He really kept his head in a nasty situation, didn't he? Not a useless lordling after all!

So glad that he and his men (except the Haradric guide -- did he die?) are safely home now, and that he is with Devoran now.

I enjoy your Éomer and Lothíriel stories, and your Amrothos and Devoran ones, too. Such a wealth of details -- like Drummer getting Amroth's favorite hound pregnant, whoops! And I could feel the sand lashing my cracked lips and dry mouth....

Well done, LBJ!

Author Reply: Thanks - the guide made it back - guiding the others - to raise the alarm. LBJ

LOL! What an ending! I'd forgotten Amroth didn't know Devoran was pregnant. Glad this story came to a happy conclusion, though its not quite over yet. And I like the conclusion with the girls, it was believable as well. Great as always!

Author Reply: There's quite a lot to come, but only a bit from Amroth. Unless he squeezes in somewhere else. Thanks for reviewing.LBJ

Oh, good. I was wondering last chapter why they hadn't made it out of the desert yet...I'm glad Gidon didn't die. Those girls are rather helpful aren't they? As for what will become of them...I think Aragorn can help, or Prince Amal. Well, lovely chapter as always. Hope they don't get lost trying to get out!

Author Reply: Well, I will make sure the girls are OK. It's the least I can do as they proved very convenient when Amroth needed help. T

Thanks for taking the time to review. LBJ

Hey long time no update... I was beginning to worry about you. Glad to see you back again, your stories are wonderful.I am hoping they find Amroth soon, but then I don't want the story to end either...LOL! I love the angst, I am so glad they rescued the girls but now I wonder where they are wandering to. The Imp

Author Reply: Hi Imp.

Thanks for picking the story back up and reviewing. There's a bit more from Amroth yet and as you say - a bit of angst is good. LBJ

I'm in complete agreement with Amroth. And the sandstorm was a wonderful idea, I had a cousin who was in Iraq and brought back picture of a storm, they certainly are impressive, and deadly. As I said, I completely sympathize with Amroth, but I hope he takes care of himself, with a toddler and a pregnant wife at home! Anyway, I'm glad Lothiriel had plenty of grandchildren to love and take care of, and probably spoil just a bit. ;) I'm interested in the line about the others that helped fill the void.... but I guess I'll have to wait and see. As always, excellent chapter, and I can't wait for the next one!

Ugh! The descriptions were rather horrifying and gruesome, they must be truly evil! I know that this is the way it is in war, I just hope that the girls will be rescued somehow, I am enjoying your story too and I just wanted to let you know I was reading it. Hugs The Imp

Oh, poor Lothiriel. I do hope she'll be able to have more children. But I think in her place, I would have chosen the same. A life was going to be lost either way, and I don't think she'll be judged harshly for her choice, as she thinks. I really hope Amroth's not dead, he's my favorite character! Well, actually I can't really decide between him and Devoran, but as this would affect both....*Sniff* I can't even go read "Drummer" to go cheer me up, because I'd be thinking of this! Wonderful (if sad) chapter, and I hope to see the next one soon.

Author Reply: Amroth is a favourite of mine too. And so is Devoran because not long after I created her my son brought home a red-headed girlfriend. She's now my daughter-in-law!

More coming soon!LBJ
