Another beautiful movie-moment here, although I suspect they felt much the same as Aragorn led the bow to them at Cormallen.

Author Reply: So true. I never ever get enough of Cormallen, or any respect/comfort/love/healing for hobbits... especially by the Big Folk.

Ah, what a wonderful prelude to a most joyous and wonderful marriage!

Author Reply: They both waited so very long for this moment; it's heartwarming to imagine their joy.

Ah, poor Frodo! I can imagine that in the dark a suddenly perceived spider web could serve to spook him! Am glad Aragorn is there to help, even if his pain draught does cause our favorite Ringbearer to go a bit loopy. Heh!

Author Reply: I'm insatiable when it comes to gentle comfort for loopy/tipsy/medicated hobbits. *grins*

Wonderful belated reaction to that EE movie-moment! Heh! Cute! And love Sam's promise to aid the digestion of our beloved Faramir as he faces life with the cooking of movie-Eowyn to look forward to!

Author Reply: One of Sam's lesser-known contributions to the well-being of Middle-earth! Glad you enjoyed.

Awwww... Aragorn's love and regard for the Hobbits shines through so well in this!

Author Reply: One of my favorite subjects, as you know! *beams*

I would leave a review, but I fear I've melted! :) Seriously, you've done a masterful job at putting in so many melty moments in this, from the idea of Aragorn teasing Arwen about her age to the moment she runs her finger along his jaw...

*melts all over again*

Author Reply: Awwww, thank you. This is truly one of the great love stories. It's amazing what can be conveyed in only 100 words.

Poor Frodo... you know the pain medicine is strong when a hobbit doesn't wake up when he smells pumpkin pie!

Author Reply: Indeed! With luck, someone will save him a piece. :)

Hee hee... I loved this little drabble on your LJ and I love it still here. It's good that you gave poor Aragorn a sympathetic ear so he could start to recover from the trauma of that stew, and Sam's the perfect choice!

Author Reply: Thank you. I'm sure Sam wondered why the King wanted to speak to him alone! I just love imagining little scenes like this.
