| Oh my, what a cliffhanger!!! How will Gandalf proceed, I wonder. And what is in Gandalf's opinion the worst that could happen? I could add more questions, but I know that I just have to wait ;-) P.S.: I found it very funny that Pippin stood on Merry's shoulders just to be once taller than Aragorn :-) Author Reply: Hobbits are quite ingenious when it comes to entertaining themselves and their friends. | Aaaaccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk I hate cliffhangers. Great chapter. Suspense was intense. Had me chewing my nails. "Elrond closed his eyes for a moment, savoring the sound." This made me weep. | Lord have mercy, shirebound, you're killing me with this!! What a suspenseful chapter and a terrific cliffhanger to end it. My heart was pounding by the end. I don't suppose there's any chance of the next one being posted in, oh, I don't know... the next five minutes? *sigh* Didn't think so. I'll be anxiously awaiting the next installment! | Well, that part of the plan worked. Not sure if the rest of Gandalf's plans will work quite as easily, though I hope Aragorn doesn't suffer any further ill from what is happening.
