The Morgul knife blade used at Weathertop to wound Frodo was enspelled by the Nazgūl, as was the hilt that Aragorn carried with him to Rivendell. At the Ford of Bruinen, the wraith-sorcerer has one chance to activate the spell woven into the hilt, and influence its bearer. Aragorn h/c, somewhat AU, very hobbity (of course!). Characters include Glorfindel, Elrond, Gandalf, Arwen.
