Well, at least the fever is broken. What do you have in store for Aragorn next? I can't believe he's gotten scot-free from the evil influence. I'm sure you have something else up your devious sleeve. LOL!

Author Reply: Alas, there's always a point in every story where the deviousness must end and the comfort must begin. (But perhaps there's a teensy tiny bit of healing still to come.)

Yea, another chapter! I love how Arwen called her love back and also how Elrond was able to temporarily aid his beloved. I hope you don't mind if I steal that for a story or two myself in the future. What a wonderful idea! :) Wonderfully portrayed was Aragorn's prison and his thoughts on that and how it wasn't real but to him it was. Of course love Pippin's words at the beginning.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: You're certainly welcome to use that idea, Antane. Any time someone can ease another's suffering -- especially someone they love -- it's a good thing.

I'm very happy you enjoyed this chapter. :)

That was indeed the perfect vision to share with Aragorn and bring him back!

Apple cake? *grins*
Aragorn knows his hobbits well. And he should be very pleased that Pippin's affection and concern for him was greater than his appetite :-)

Author Reply: Dear Pippin! He does tend to do the right thing at the right time, and sometimes even for the right reasons. :)

Oh, beautiful! You pack a lot of imagery into a few words!

Aragorn knows his Hobbits!

Author Reply: Thank you; what a lovely compliment!

This was so beautiful; it brought tears to my eyes.

But then, the ending made me laugh and smile. How well he knows these hobbits!

Loved this chapter!

Author Reply: Oh Addie, thank you. I'm so glad this chapter gave you warm fuzzy feelings.

Our dear 'Strider' has already learned much about hobbits. :)

Awwww.... awwww.... awww....! I don't know where to begin! What a lovely healing chapter. I've been longing to read a fic where Arwen is the healer and this was perfection. I love how you weaved in a bit about Celebrian without letting the angst of that situation overpower the story here. It just added a nice detail. Arwen's answer of simply kissing Aragorn's hand made me melt, and it seemed so like Aragorn to immediately want to know what happened! Elrond's tenderness and then finaly the humor at the end--it was all just right. *happy sigh*

Author Reply: I'm absolutely delighted that you enjoyed this. I get as impatient as anyone else for the 'hurt' to ease and the 'comfort' to begin.
