A Long-Expected Wedding  by Fiondil 16 Review(s)
Kaylee ArafinwielReviewed Chapter: 27 on 12/7/2011
(Ok, Atto, I just noticed Lady Meril's amusement. What is this, payback for the "twelve years hence at Midsummer"? I expect Amarie's got something along the lines of "I don't want to marry you, I want to elope with you" now...*raises eyebrows*)

Tye-melin,

Kaylee

Author Reply: We'll find out next week just what Amarië's game is, never fear.

Atya,

WHAT??? What do you mean, "the wedding is off?" Amarie...what the...

(I kind've expected Anaire's reaction to her husband and sons, so that didn't surprise me, but this...)

*fervently prays that Amarie's got some plan afoot and doesn't really mean it*

(Does this mean they can marry Sindar style?)

Tye-melin,

Kaylee

Author Reply: Hi Kaylee. Well I think Anairë's reaction was inevitable given she had no warning of their being reborn.

And hey! Someone is always calling of the wedding at the eleventh hour in the movies, so why not here? LOL! We'll see how it goes next week.

Tye-melin.

I feel bad for Anairë. I think that it is a logical reaction. Hopefully, they will learn to love each other again.

Finrod will need a psychiatric by the time that the wedding takes place. It is a shock after a shock, poor guy.

Author Reply: Hi Fantasia. It's certainly a shock for Anairë and it'll take time for her to reconcile herself to her husband and sons returning.

I think you're right that Finrod will need psychiatric care after this. *grin*

Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it.

OH SWEET LORD!! First, I'm just getting over Anaire slapping the bejezus out of her husband and then I almost choke to death on my bagel from the last line. You're going to have to include a warning at the beginning of chapters, Fiondil. I think the only reason I haven't really hit the panic button is that Lady Meril was amused. Did I mention I'm one of those annoyingly "happy ever after" gals? These two have to get married.

Great chapter.

Author Reply: Hi Eliza. Sorry about that, but I'm not sure what kind of warning I could've given without giving everything away. *grin* Anyway, it ain't over til it's over, as Yogi Bera said. We'll see how things go next week. Thanks for taking the time to read and review. I appreciate it.

8-O Now what caused this???? 8-O Amarie suddenly doesn't want to marry Finrod after all??!? (And of course, that is also just where you left us hanging!)

It is rather obvious Anairë hasn't had any contact with any Reborn - and I must say the meeting between her and her husband and her sons was not auspicious. The first thing she does is hitting Nolofinwë!! nd I hope she will become better at dealing with surprises - with three Reborn around, she will need to get used to them! And I can really understand Findecáno and Aracáno's reactions too, when they say they would really prefer to have Eärwen as mother instead of Anairë, since the very first thing Anairë did when meeting with them again, was hitting Nolofinwë!!

(Hee! Pigs will fly, eh? I have a hairstick with an adorable flying pig!!)

It is very clear that Arafinwë has become very experienced in dealing with Reborn. When he and his brother runs off here, I assume it is to find a tree to swing from? ;-)

Author Reply: Hi Sunny. Hey! You know me and cliffhangers. LOL!

Anairë has had no contact with any Reborn and she's going to have to learn double-quick how to handle them with three to deal with. And Arafinwë is an old hand with Reborn after all this time. He could probably write the book on it. *grin* I wouldn't be surprised if they did end up swing from a tree.

Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

Now you are just being cruel leaving us with a cliffhanger like that and having to wait till next week...... Other than that a great chapter that has made me smile lots with the elfing behaviour. Also I am pleased to see that Nolofinwë and his sons want to give their fealty to Arafinwë. I can understand Anairë's reaction - she hasn't had much to do with Reborns for a start and given the way she and Nolofinwë separated.....

Well I was smiling until I got to that last bit. Now what has happened I wander.....

Author Reply: Hi Arwen. Well, if nothing else, it means you'll be back to find out what happens next. *LOL!* I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter, at least until you got to the end. Thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it.
