Saeron is pretty young, isn't he? Glad to see that Glorfindel was able to catch up to him and bring him back to Imladris so he could be properly healed. Now to see how Saeron and the Twins fare once they reach Mirkwood, and what all has been happening to everyone else.

Author Reply: oh yes he is and stubborn, yet he will need all his toughness when returning home, I promise! Thank you for a much appreciated review. Lai

Looks as if poor Legolas has a deeper connection to his ada than any suspects. Hope they make it to the clearing safely. Looking forward to more.

Author Reply: I´m a proponent of a loving and caring Thranduil and have ever imagined that Legolas has a special bond to his father. This connection will serve him well soon. More is coming soon. Thank you for reading and reviewing, Fiondil. Lai

I love the whole story idea. It stands to reason that some of the Sindar would be upset when Oropher took over Mirkwood. Good premise.

Looking forward to more.

Author Reply: I was always sure that there had to be some quarrels between Sindar and Silvan elves. Here is their story. Thank you for letting me know your thoughts. Lai

Whoa! The royal family is in dire straits. I've got my fingers crossed there will be a happy ending.... but....

Author Reply: I think it will take more then crossed fingers but Thranduil is grateful for every support. Glad you like the beginning of my story. Thank you for reviewing. Lai

The title seems to be a bit tame.

What a horrendous way for a little tike to wake up. I'm hoping for only the best, but I think not.

Looking forward to reading more.

Author Reply: Hello Agape4Gondor, yes what an awakening indeed. Hope will this time betray you. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. Lai

Wow! Again, you write these elves' characters very well. I can feel Saeron's frustration very well, but also understand the others' point of view. They are all in a real dilemma! Which has probably been Thoran's idea from the beginning, and whoever is controlling him. Great chapters!

Author Reply: I´m so glad that you find my elves believable and that the feeling did come through. I also can feel with Saeronand with the elves trying to help him. What a dilemma indeed. Many thanks for your much appreciated review. It keeps me going. Thank you. Lai

Poor Saeron. I can certainly understand his frustration and anger and Erestor and Galdor are idiots or just too arrogant and full of themselves to understand what Elrond already knows. Hopefully, he and Glorfindel will find a way to help Saeron bring aid to Thranduil and rout Thoran from power.

Author Reply: Elrond will have a hard time to convince others to help, Thranduil was not really an easy going elf in the past. Poor Saeron indeed. Thoran has to be removed, without question. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing, Fiondil. It´s much appreciated. Lai

Oh dear, Lai! This is just awful. Poor Thranduil. And Thoran is a slimy little toad who would fit right in with Sauron's Mordor crowd. I'm sure it's a trick of some sort on Thoran's part, at least, I hope so. I doubt I'll have any fingernails left before you finish this story. *grin*

Author Reply: Hi Fiondil, I´m so glad the suspense is working, but please keep some fingernails; you will need them before the end. *grin* Poor Thrnaduil indeed and I fear he will be on the receiving endof this mad elf for quite some time. Thank you so much for your appreciated review. Lai

And so the plot thickens. Let's hope Liriel is able to get the message to the king and Galadhion is able to get out of the palace and meet with the warriors. But first, he needs to find Liriel's son. And how many other children is Thoran holding hostage? Is he even an Elf? *shakes head in dismay* Good chapter, Lai. Looking forward to more.

Author Reply: Thoran is an elf, sadly, but one of the sort you do not want to cross path with. Thranduil and his family will find out the hard way. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing, Fiondil. Lai

You are still keeping the tension up there, very good! The elves' desperation really came through, how helpless they feel, and the suddenness of it all. Poor little elfings! I can't wait to read what happens next!

Author Reply: I´m so glad you find my descriptions believable, BeeGee. Poor elves indeed! They are somewhat overextended with such a situation. The next chapter will be up soon. Thank you so much for reviewing. Lai
