| Poor Legolas is just too young to understand why he can't go home, isn't he? And now they have to leave again. | No, indeed, they are not in any position to counter a revolution, but I'm sure between Glorfindel and Elrond, not to mention the Twins, they'll think of someting to save Thranduil from Thoran and his cronies. | Well, at least Saeron made it to Imladris, though whether he will live to tell the tale still remains to be seen, I think. Hopefully he will recover enough to tell Elrond what has happened, or maybe Glorfindel will just hie off with the Twins and see for himself. *grin* Looking forward to the next chapter. | As a Thranduil fan, I'm really enjoying this story! Your pacing is very good, and that really keeps the suspense flowing. The characterization is excellent also, both Mirkwood and Imladris elves. I'm looking forward to more, please! Author Reply: BeeGee, you are not knowing how glad I´m for you saying this. Although I´m a Elrond fan I like Thranduil vey much also but was ever reluctant to write about such a powerful character. The suspense is working, then I have done something right. | Ah, the plot thickens. I'm glad Saeron was able to escape. Good of his horse to help defend him against his attackers. But he's sorely wounded. I hope he makes it to Rivendell alive. | Thoran is beyond dangerous. It's obvious he's slipping into madness (if he hasn't done so already). Poor Thranduil. I sincerely hope someone rescues him. Even if they have to smuggle him out of the Stronghold and he has to fight to get it back, at least he'll be fighting instead of at the mercy of a lunatic. Looking forward to more, Lai. | this is really good, I've always enjoyed reading fics centred around the wood elves and especially Thranduil. Please continue with this, I'm eagerly awaiting more!!
