This was just what was needed now, a quiet chapter with no action. Alex deserved the break. I'm really beginning to like Gil. He's such a calm, patient person who isn't too scary for humans like Alex. Is he a Sindarin/Silvan elf? Author Reply: Hi Someone. Alex certainly needed a breather, that's for sure. Yes, Gil is Sindarin. I'm glad you like him. He's pretty cool. Thanks for leaving a review. It's much appreciated.

As far as ways to start my weekend, Elf Academy being updated is pretty high up there on the list. It's intriguing to see how much comfort Alex got from the trees, and certainly that they accepted him as well. It seems that he really is quite sensitive, what with the tarn and now this. "Not a lost case" indeed. I found it interesting to see how Gil adressed the elves being real or not scenerio, and look forward to the coming archery lesson and hopefully more Zach-Derek-Alex interaction! Thanks for sharing your work! :) Truffles Author Reply: Hi Truffles. Alex is pretty sensitive, something that will be important in the future. I thought the conversation between Alex and Gil very interesting, especially when Alex is insisting there's no such thing as Elves... to an Elf. I bet Gil was hard-pressed not to laugh out loud at the irony of it all. *grin* Anyway, we'll see more of Zach, especially interacting with Alex. Thankd for commenting. I appreciate it very much.

I found it very amusing that Alex insisted so strongly that Elves don't exist - in a conversation with an Elf. :-D (Of course he doesn't _know_ that Gil is an elf - yet - but very fun nonetheless!) Author Reply: Hi Sunny. It is pretty funny and ironic, isn't it? And when he finally learns the truth I'm sure he'll think back on this conversation and cringe. *grin* Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it.
