| Farrell's plans really has gone down in flames - he doesn't know it yet, though. And for now he _does_ have the edge, since he (and his compatriots) have the guns. The young ellyn clearly are upset when Alex orders them to let themselves be tied up - but then I don't think they don't really understand guns as yet. Alex wants to keep them all alive for as long as possible, to wait for the reinforcements if that is what it takes, but definitely on the lookout for a chance to get the drop on the kidnappers. And Farrell seems to be the sort who will shoot first, think later, and regret it - if he does so at all - only if he is not able to evade the fallout. It looks as if Farrell is not happy with Zach's reaction to the truth serum. He's started _singing_ his answers to the questions, and it wouldn't surprise me if Farrell thinks he has started hallucinating, since the answers are so weird. :-D Or else he will probably guess that both Zach and Loren are deeply into gaming and LARPing, to the point that their game personas are taking over their real lives. Honestly - Elves??!? What would the next thing be - angels, perhaps?? ;-) Author Reply: Hi Sunny. Yeah, the Elves are pretty pissed at Alex/Artemus, but he knows the score better than they and it's a good thing they listened to him. Zach singing is the last thing anyone was expecting. I think it's funny that when he starts singing the Lament that the Elves join in. That must've really been weird for the agents. And yeah. Angels? LOL! Thanks for commenting. | Monday, it is Monday already? only you can make me wish for a Monday and bypass my weekend..I know that we should not laugh, but Zach's answers were funny, even singing a lament for Glorfindel. Equally funny was the agents reactions, they thought that Zach was resisting the serum because they couldn't even imagine the truth. Noticed that the elves were not happy with Alex/Artemus not reacting when they confronted the kidnappers, but they really don't know what a gun can do, to bad that they will know soon. Hopefully Alex will be Ok after the fall. Author Reply: Hi Fantasia. Zach was funny. I enjoyed writing him and the reactions of the agent. And of course Artemus was right to discourage them in their attempt. Someone could easily have been killed and that would've been a bad thing. | You certainly have my understanding that you have a life and must be away from computers. However, you are straining my patience considerably. I bet you have horrible cliffhangers for the next several chapters! This was a good one. I feel for poor Zach. I assume you have a lovely punishment in mind for Farrell's gang. I think Derek and Alex should take care of Farrell. Thanks again. Author Reply: Hi UTfrog. I'm sorry about straining your patience, but the next chapter will be posted on Monday, just not at the usual time.
