| That last line had me howling! But I liked the whole chapter. I'm liking this whole chaptered fic (not to mention the birthday bash as a whole, but besides the one you wrote me, I think this long story is my favorite so far! Hehe!) | LOL! I loved that last line immensely. I would suppose that Adamanta spent a lot of time being upset with her husband...that might account for the twelve children...I am guessing that Gerontius could be quite er, creative, in calming her down. This was delightful. I especially loved Gandalf's line about making a point of not blessing the babies of those who asked, and his answer to the question about babies listening! Please forgive me for going straight to my own mathom first! I may not get to the rest before tomorrow. But they all look intriguing! Author Reply: No forgiveness necessary! I'm glad you enjoyed the fic so much, and honestly, I had not considered Gerontius' methods of winning her over! *wicked grin* And no, I can't see Gandalf doing any favors for fame-seekers, either! | |

And familiar vs. formal usage...oh dear. :) I'm still getting my "haths" and "hasts" mixed up when I need to use them for my Maiar, Eru and such... | Oooh!!!! What a perfect story for just-slightly-belated Halloween...or even for Bonfire Night. I may have to reread it tomorrow (not that it'd be a hardship! :) ) I rejoice to know the Ents found the Entwives...although being dead like that...O.o. Wow.
