Poor Thurin- sorry, Arthalion's story was so sad! Imagine having to lose a brother like that.....no wonder he reverted to the mentality of a child. Come to think of it, it seems a bit like what Namo did in The Wars of the Valar, after he was rescued from Melkor. And a silmaril?! Where in blazes did that come from?! Unless it found its way out of the Sea (possibly with Someone's help) when the Ice Age set in?
