Yay for more 'Quarantined' verse! This is a lovely and intriguing start to your new tale! I did sigh a little at the mention of Scamp, though. But she's there in spirit, I know.

Author Reply: She certainly is, and there might be something coming up in a later chapter to turn the sighs to happy ones...

Thank you so much for reading. *beams*

Lovely--all the affection! I love the description of the trees and the idea that there are trees and plants from Numenor here, different from all of Middle Earth. Now I want to see them. (-:

Author Reply: What a joy to read (and write) stories that take us to Middle-earth whenever we need to visit. How we would both enjoy walking through these trees. What a joy to start a new, gentle hobbity adventure. Thank you for coming along!

Ooo! Very nice, it is always so much fun to revist the Quarantined Verse.

I will have to go back and reread 'Vault.

Keep it coming.

Huggs and Scrits,
Lynda

Author Reply: Thanks, Lynda, and I appreciated your comments on the 'sneak peek'. I hope you like how the chapter evolved.

The Blue Mountains, the home of his northern kindred and probably where he was born, unless he was born amongst Dain's folk in the Iron Hills east of the Misty Mountains.

Love the greeting, and fitting that Frodo and he should embrace first! As for Pippin's greeting--so appropriate and proper!

Author Reply: I'm so glad you enjoyed the greetings.

Oh my, I should have researched where Gimli was born! I'm grateful you brought that up; I just made a few corrections in that regard in chapter 1.

Oh, goody! Another Quarantine story. I am so looking forward to reading more of this, shirebound. Í'm sure you have many surprises in store for your readers. The Quarantine stories are my favoritest of all your stories. *grin*

Author Reply: Thank you, Fiondil! What a nice thing to say. I'm rather partial to this "Q"-verse as well. *beams* I anticipate a gentle story, but definitely containing a few fun surprises.

How wonderful to revisit this world and to see Frodo healthy again. The meeting between Frodo and Estel brought tears to my eyes as well as joy to my heart. I love that Pippin’s spirit remains the same in spite of being all grown up and Thain of The Shire.

I can’t wait to read more!

Author Reply: Oh, thank you. That reunion made my heart happy along with theirs, and it's wonderful to know that your heart sang too.

Dear Pippin. I'm looking forward to exploring his childlike-adult nature in this AU.

Oh sweetie, I have been waiting eagerly for this tale since you first announced it--and NOW we finally get it and I found myself squeeing before you even finished the Author's Note!

Happy! Happy! Happy! It's a "Frodo-stayed" AU as well! *bounce*bounce*

This is wonderful and I look forward so much to seeing how it will unfold!

(((hugs)))

Author Reply: Thank you so much for your squeees and hugs! I'm excited, too. I know how much you love it when Frodo stays in the Shire and finds peace and happiness with those who love him.

*bounces with you*
