Yes, they are dangerous! Don't try it! (Somehow, I feel they will not listen to me... :-P) Poor Legolas -- he has every right to be in a bad mood, as does Arwen, and he is so right -- eventually Thranduil's going to be crabby one day, and then things will get ugly... So much going on here ... I have no idea where and when they will attempt to strike, but it's definitely coming... I'm enjoying this, thanks so much for writing! So strange ... that last review was for this chapter, don't know why it put it on the last one. Anyhoo...

Well...that's embarrassing. Those kids are going to sober up and wish they'd never heard of Minas Tirith or Elessar or the Elvenking... I know I've said it before, but I love the way you write Thranduil. In spite of the insignificant being attacked while a guest in a foreign capital, he barely even breaks a sweat... :-) Thanks so much for writing! Author Reply: Thank you! We always love getting your reviews. :D

'You don't have to say everything you think.' Boy isn't that the truth -- and for more of us than just Pippin... :-P Sounds like they're having a great time, and the gang's all (mostly) here. Should be a good party -- if the nay-sayers and dissidents don't get in the way... Thanks for writing!

*snickers* They all sound like a bunch of Hobbits, sitting around with their long genealogical discussions... But I do love scenes like this, where everyone can just sit around and talk and laugh together. Why do I fear it won't last? Glad to get back to this story, thanks so much for writing!

This is an interesting story. I like the political complexities and although its written in a little too much of a Victorian bent, the plot is well thought through and the characters are developing nicely. I'm curious to see what happens next with this story and glad that you're working on it again. Thanks for your hard work on it, looking forward to future installments. Oh my gosh you updated this! I've been checking this almost every week or so since I finished the latest chapter almost two years ago. I wish I can leave a review for every fic you wrote but for now I'll just say I've been following your fics since you started and its so wonderful to see you updating. Your Thranduil is one of my favourite portrayals of the character=) Author Reply: Thank you! Sorry to leave you hanging like that. It's great to be writing again, and I hope to update more faithfully in future!

Baldor had best watch out, considering the history of Gondor and Arnor as well as Numenor as well as the surprisingly large amount of Elvish blood throughout even Gondor these days! He has been most immoderately impolitic so far. Author Reply: Baldor will never make a diplomat, 'tis true. Thanks for reading!

I begin to think that something -very- big is going to happen really soon. It's always a bad sign when characters speak like this: "the memory.....seemed uproarious upon reflection.... who would dare assail them?". When I read the last sentence, I almost heard the approach of doom. On the other hand, the last scene was beautifull and I enjoyed the genealogical interlude (even if it was a bit complicated ;) Thanks for writing! Author Reply: Thanks for reading! Stay tuned for the necessary unpleasantness. :)
