Oh my! That wad almost too much to handle. Is there any hope for Tinar? It seems that this cliff is thirsty for the blood of elves...

Author Reply: oh my I havenīt seen it from this aspect - yes a blood-thirsty cliff. Iīm already hard working to rescue our dear Tinár, or is it already too late? Keep some fingernails, dear Ellie, you will need them. Thank you so much for reviewing. Lai

And here comes Celebrían as well! All of Imladris will soon be emptied in this search. It's so sad about Asfaloth. *sniff*

Author Reply: letīs see how well they can handle themselves with all the "brains" on the road. LOL! Yes poor Asfaloth. It will be an additional blow for poor Glorfindel, but I have a little surprise in stock for him. Thank you so much for reviewing, shirebound. Lai

This chapter is a sad study in the powerlessness of those who care very deeply. Help needs to arrive in so many forms in order to assure a positive outcome for all.

Author Reply: you are tight, emotions running high because of this helplessness and thatīs more than understandable. They will need all help they can get. Thanks for a most appreciated review, Ellie. Lai

Yea!! the Calvary has arrived. Always enjoy seeing Celeborn, he always seems like a port of calm during a storm. Now as for Galadriel, lol maybe because I have "nosey mother in law" syndrome, Elrond should have told her to "stuff" it. How is it her job to calm her daughter down or to reprimand anyone? this is a married couple fight, I bet she'd skewer anyone who dared to comment on her and Celeborn's relationship.

loving this story Laikwalasse. can't wait for the next chapter

Author Reply: You are right, Celeborn is the right choice to bring some calm in the heated atmosphere. I think we all have "nosey mother in law" syndrom. LOL! But Galadriel is Galadriel, right? And her daughter takes 100% after her as you will see in the next chapter. Elrond will have to make clear his stand; but I have faith in him. His problems with his wife is not her concern. Iīm glad you love this story and for every of your reviews. Thank you. Lai

Well, met, Celeborn, indeed. Celeborn The Wise has come prepared. And again, our Balrog Slayer has taken the advice to heart, and given aid without his body leaving the ledge. His first appearance to save Elrohir from the orcs reminded me of the scene in "Fellowship" at the Ford of Bruinen. Frodo sees a figure of blazing light, frightening the wraiths into the river. Gandalf later tells him he has seen Glorfindel with the glory he possesses in the Undying Lands. I also like the image of Galadriel's "traveling clothes". Somehow I can not imagine her in anything but immaculate white, no matter what she is doing!

Author Reply: Elrond has dire need of the reinforcement. Iīm glad you liked the scene of Glorfindel helping Elrohir but I havenīt thought of the scene at the "Fellowship", but you are right thatīs kind of similar. I could not resist to describe Galadriel in white - anything other is unthinkable. LOL. Thank you so much for your review, demeter d. I really appreciate it. Lai

Hooray, more cavalry has arrived! Awww, one more glimpse of Asfaloth galloping in the sunshine.

Author Reply: are you sure that the riderīs is help they hope for? Asfaloth will be in our memories forever. Thank you for your lovely review, shirebound. Lai

Ah, ha, let's see now. Elrond had to shut Elrohir's mother off from his own bond, as he was rather busy saving their son! But I am sure the Mommy has her own bond with her children, as well. Since Elrond seemed to be having difficulty, if I were her I would have gathered up my own contingent of guards and come after! Now she and some of those guards can take that one home, while Ada and his people go after the others. I agree, tho. I hope Glorfindel has not drained himself too badly!

Author Reply: of course she has her own bond which she will use. To come after her husband will not improve Elrondīs mood, huh? But a very good idea and stuff for more potential of catastrophes, right? Thank you so uch for your lovely review, demeter d. Lai

Another evil cliffhanger! Poor Elrohir with his terrible injuries! I am amazed at what Glorfindel seems to have done. Ihope he did not spend too much energy in the venture to save Elrohir. I hope help is coming and not more hurt!

Author Reply: where is the fun without a cliffie? Poor Elrohir indeed, but now heīs in the best of hands and grandma will do all to make him better, Iīm sure. Never underestimate the elves of old; they rerely show their power, but when, itīs amazing. You are right, Glorfindel should have more economized his strenght. Thank you so much for your review, Ellie. I really appreciate it. Lai

Whew, one rescued at least! What an exciting chapter. Glorfindel's power extends far from his physical body, I see.

I really liked this part: The tree sensing the child’s danger lowered its lowest branch allowing him to grab it.

Author Reply: one son safe, the other still out there - poor Elrond! Glorfindel is always good for a surprise even Elrond does not expect. I always liked the close connection of the elves to nature - Elrohir is no wood elf but an elf nonetheless. Iīm so glad I could fascinate you with my chapter, shirebound. Thsnk you for a most appreciated review, Lai

The little elfling was being so brave, and then this... I hope Elrond will be proud of how his sons have handled themselves through all of this. Poor Glorfindel feeling so helpless.

Author Reply: Iīm sure Elrond will burst with proudness, yet first bring them home alive. What an ordeal foe two elflings so small, but we all know what has become of them. Thank you so much for your lovely review, Ellie. Lai
