Well, it has been quite a long while, but not exactly several weeks yet. Wow, Allaura actually felt scared for once. She wanted the elf, but Legolas wanted the stone. So clearly she made a mistake about using her sapphire necklace on the him, which, of course, she did not expect that the elf would escape beyond her control. Well, it certainly serves her right. And, she should know fear for once, because she ordinarily inflicts fear upon her victims, and now it's the other way around. Poor Legolas. He's a prisoner of the stone. Allaura was so shocked, she had never had experience with an elf before, and so clearly she did not get what she wanted.
Yay Treco! So his stomping and puncturing the ground was for better than for worse, though Aragorn had a very narrow shave. So they reunited, though Treco still has a misunderstanding with them. They had agreed to meet in six weeks, but I think Legolas and Aragorn arrived first and waited for Treco before they were captured by the Easterlings. (Or was it the other way around? Treco waited first? I don't remember, I haven't read this in a long time.) Well, at least the dragon helped. As for their plan of how to get out of the cells, can't Treco just inflict further damage to the floor and then they could escape out of Aragorn's cell together? Well, your idea might be different, but we can never tell. I can hardly wait for the next chapter. Good job so far, don't give up! [Not convinced yet? Okay, how about this? *hugs White Wolf* Still not enough? Well, then......hmmmmmm.....aha! I'll kill myself because of the torturous suspense! That had better be enough to satisfy you. :)] Hehehehe, all that was jk. Well, at least everything except the hug...LOL
*Sigh* It used to be all nice when I actually had the time to sleep, you know? But noooooooooooo, it's torture here in California. Or, rather, the district where I go to school is torture. They like piling endless amounts of homework on us because according to them, it will "help us get used to staying up late into the night when we get into high school." Well, I personally believe that that is just stupid. I believe that we should get all the sleep we can get before all those days are gone. And one thing that is definitely not helping my mood: history class square dancing. I hate dancing of any kind, and so this was enough to make me boiling hot, so high in temperature that I could have melted pure gold.
Well, until your next update...
Hershey's kisses/hugs,
-Lady of Isengard *grins* ^_~
Author's reply
Using the necklace on Legolas wasn't exactly a mistake, since Allaura had no choice but to use the blue stone to get what she wanted. She just wasn't expecting Legolas's reaction. She did experience fear, but don't expect her to give up. She's determined to get back the control over Legolas that she lost.
Treco is not happy being cooped up, so he finally vented his anger and frustration. The result is that he and Aragorn are now together. Perhaps they can work out a way to escape and find Legolas. Perhaps not. They got to the meeting place first, btw. They can't escape out of Aragorn's cell, because the dragon is way too big to fit. More on that later.
If you want to give me something to keep me going, give me chocolate, especially dark chocolate. I love chocolate, as long as it doesn't have coconut in it.
I agree, get the sleep while you can. I've never been much of a dancer.

Great update! I just love this story! I can't wait to see Legolas' reaction to Aragorn and Treco, and just *what* is Aragorn planning? With words like "I've got it!" You just gotta hope it's not contagious! LOL ;D!
Faithfully yours,
Mhy
Author's reply
Thank you. I'm glad that you do. Legolas is so obssessed with getting the necklace back that he may or may not react to them at all, if they manage to reach him. After all, Aragorn's plan may not work. Not contagious - very funny. :o)

Aragorn jumped up and snapped his fingers. "I have it!"
Well I am glad that he does because I certainly don't! But then it is midnight and I need a little sleep! Glad at least 2 out of 3 are re-united! *g*

I'm glad he thought of something, too. :o) Let's hope it works, because we need all three o fthem back together.

That is why I can't stop reading your stories. They are just too good. Again, great job!
But I can't stop wondering after reading these chapters. What is happening to Legolas? How are Treco and Aragorn getting out of that prison? Is Allaura mad or just evil?
I can't wait to fint out more!
Author's reply
Thank you so much. I'm glad you're hooked. That's a nice compliment. As for what's happening to Legolas, he's obssessed with the necklace's blue stone. I can't say yet what will happen with Aragorn and Treco. That's still to come. Allaura is quite evil, having been corrupted by the stone when she was young. More soon.

I still love your stories.
Author's reply
I assure you it's nothing personal. It's just the way the story is going. I'm writing the next chapter now and plan on posting it next week, so hang on. :o)

Aha--finally found this and am caught up again--until you update again.
So, she has become a vampire of sorts, feeding off life forces, and not getting what she needs from an Elf. I think she's miscalculated terribly.
And am pleased the ceiling came down if it allows Aragorn and Treco to help one another and Legolas out of this mess.
Author's reply
I'm glad you're back on board.
I'm not sure if what Allaura is has a specific name, but you are right in your assessment. She is both surprised and unhappy at what's happened to Legolas. Getting what she wants from an elf will be a challengor for her.
Aragorn and Treco getting together is a good thing, but they have some problems to sort out before they can do anything for anyone else.

Great chapter, i love dragons and its heard to find a decent story with them in it that actually captures my interest, imagine my surprise and happiness when i found 1 with a dragon and Legolas in it! * squeals with delight and passes out* im dying to hear the next chapter, im lovin it so far!!! Great work! :-D
Author's reply
Thank you. I also love dragons. I think, like wolves, they've gotten a bad rap over the centuries, though some were clearly evil. I wanted to create a dragon that was likable without being seen as a parody. I'm glad you found the story and like it. Thanks again. More will be along soon.

HA!!! allaura isn't as powerful as she thought she was. the stone proved mightier, and of course, it's gained control of the elf, and she has absolutely no power over him anymore. anyways, the best part about your story is that you manage to keep your readers in suspense and you write things that anyone would least expect. well, at least, i certainly didn't expect for allaura to lose control of the stone and legolas.
well, update fast, because the longer it takes for your next chapter to come out, the more torture i will have to face of suspence.
good work!!!
Lady Saruman ^_^
Author's reply
I think her main problem is she has never come up against an elf before. They, Legolas certainly, react differently to the power of the blue stone than she ever expected. She's none too happy about it, either.
Thank you very much. I try hard to keep my readers guessing. I don't like to be too predictable.
I don't mean to torture you. Well, maybe just a little. :o) It will be a couple of weeks before I can update. See you then.

good chapter. I think that dragon should break out and he aragorn and legolas will fly away... but then that wouldn't be much of a story if that happened right now.
I wonder how long Legolas will last, I don't think that it can go on forever.
Author's reply
Thank you. You are right. I think if they all flew away now, the readers would feel a little jipped. No, Legolas can't constantly give up a part of his life force without it eventually coming to an end, so... Sorry, you'll have to wait. :o)

'lo White Wolf.
Hot stuff and powerful you got here. I really did enjoy it. Pity that Legolas was entranced quicker and more powerful than Aragorn. I thought that as hard as Allura tried to entrance him, he would never fall for the necklace's beauty. Glad not to be Legolas.
Until later mellon nin,
Arya
Author's reply
Thank you. I knew I wanted Legolas to react differently than Aragorn. Being an elf made that easy. It was just a question of which way it would go, better or worse. Time will tell which it turns out to be.

So, she DOES have Treco, does she? And she has a mesmerized Elf. What on earth is this thing doing with all these? Gaack! This is most frustrating! And I doubt she'll get quite what she thinks to get out of Legolas.
Author's reply
Yes indeed, and he isn't happy about it, either. Yep, she's got one of those, too. You know, of course, that you will have to stay tuned to find that out what's going on. You may be right about Legolas, and that would probably make Allaura very frustrated.

I'm happy to hear from you. Better late than never.
I wanted something different for Legolas rather than the same reaction that Aragorn had to the necklace. The fact he's an elf made that easy. Even Allaura was surpirsed.

Oh poor Legolas and poor dragon! It really is going to take a concerted effort to beat this witch! Perhaps something to do with her being weakened by an excess of dragon fire?

Both of them need certainly need some sympathy. So does Aragorn. That it will. I wish that was the case, but unfortunately, no. She's at full power.

I wandered onto storiesofarda almost by accident and I saw and update, you have made my day.
Yey, Treco! A chained dragon is better than no dragon, will Legolas have to be brought to Treco for this grand scheme I wonder? Poor Treco, I feel sorry for him, I wonder how long he was waiting for Aragorn and Legolas?! He doesn't seem very patient so I doubt he waited too long!
About this jewel, does it simply mesmorise the victim while Allura works and then makes them forget; or does it do more?
Author's reply
Thank you. If an update of mine can make someone's day, then I'm happy.
I thought it was about time to bring Treco back into the picture, though at the moment, he is no better off than our heroes. No. He waited a while, but you are right; he is not a patient creature.
It does more.
