I enjoyed the pet names they gave each other! Good that they met each other incognito -- loved the touch of Eomer being half-naked. There are too many fun moments to mention, thanks for sharing this. Author Reply: I too always enjoy the scenarios where they don't know each other's identity, especially if they clash a bit at first. Thanks for reading!

I love all the different mini-stories with all the scrapes and turns that you put them both through! This particular one is quite action-packed I think and their "meet-cute" is quite memorable too. So many funny moments and even Amrothos manages to amuse even if he is only mentioned--I love it! Author Reply: Thanks! It's fun to imagine all the different ways they could have met, even though Tolkien would probably not approve of most of them ;-) And Amrothos will have a quick cameo in the next chapter.

These little stories were delightful, everything you write I thoroughly enjoy. Thank you for posting. Author Reply: Thank you! This is a nice format for playing around with an idea, without it - hopefully - morphing into a full blown novel, as so many of my stories tend to do. Glad to hear you enjoyed them!

It is always a treat to read a new story from you and this was truly delightful. Author Reply: Thank you! I've had this idea of Lothiriel dumping Eomer in the water in my mind for a long time, but only now got round to writing it. Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

A wonderful ending to the story, and worthy of both of them, considering how Lothiriel is in this story. Just picked up "The Elephant Thief" and hope to get to it soon, once I'm finished with my current Nook book. Sounds interesting! Author Reply: Thank you! I just felt like writing something lighthearted and this idea fit the bill. And I hope you'll like Elephant Thief :-)

Oh, but so fun! First they dunk one another in the stream, and now he realizes that she is Imrahil's daughter and a minx as well! Delightful as they draw one another to themselves. Author Reply: She's certainly a rogue ;-) But as you said, one that draws him in...

Make me number three, I love that last line! I believe this heralds the return of Lady Owl! That was the first one of these I found, and has long been my most favorite. Now this one shares first place with the other. Author Reply: You're right, these two incarnations are quite similar, they even share a bird mask. Glad to hear you're enjoying it!
