|The Lion and his Lady by Lialathuveril||72 Review(s)|

Oh, but I see I must find "The Elephant Thief" next, considering how much I loved "The Bride of the Sun."
Impressing one another must have worked for the two of them.
Author Reply: Being honest with each other is always a good idea - and I hope you'll enjoy 'Elephant Thief'!

Ah! Two cases of love at first sight! And well done in both cases, apparently. Perhaps not quite eleven months for these two to come together, but they will have a lovely foal to celebrate that union, won't they? Heh!
Author Reply: Yes, and perhaps their own firstborn can ride that foal one day :-)

Somehow I missed finishing the series. This one is so delightful. Aunt Invriniel in this one is so like my grandmother who thought of us as her great Barbie dolls to dress and pose, only we were already far too self-directed. And she is definitely the proper princess for this lion!
Author Reply: LOL, poor you! I had a godmother like that, who always gave me perfume for my birthday, probably because she didn't think me feminine enough...
Thanks for reviewing and I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed this story!

I first found your stories of Eomer and Lothiriel on fanfiction.net and was immediately enthralled your writing style is humorous yet can portray other emotions, unlike so many other wooden stories I've read. I think my favorite version is On the Wings of the Storm, this one, and The Abduction.

Author Reply: Hello Artemis Moon Huntress,
thank you! Somehow a bit of humour creeps into all my stories, even the serious ones. And 'Wings' and 'Abduction' are two of my own favourites as well.
Thanks for reviewing!

What a delightful story! I laughed out loud.I was only thinking a few days ago how much I missed your stories.I've been rereading the older ones.
Author Reply: Hello Linda,
nice to hear from you again! And I'm flattered to hear that you've been rereading my stories. If real life doesn't eat me up, there should be a new one coming up soon.

Aw, sweet and very amusing! And I'm glad to find you posting a story after such a long hiatus! :)
Author Reply: Hello Virtuella,
yes, it's been a long time! Not that I've been idle, but mostly writing original stuff, not LotR.
I hope you've been keeping well!

ow, that was quite a different view of Lothiriel--rather sedate in her way, but patient with one who started out behaving like and idiot! Glad he straightened up for her. Obviously the staff realized she was a treasure before he did!
Author Reply: Yes, for me the fun about these little vignettes is to draw different Lothiriels and Eomers, without getting bogged down in a long tale. This one is rather rougher than usual and as you said, she's more reserved.

They ARE well matched, the two of them! Glad the Riders cheered. They aren't going to treat her anywhere as badly as she might have thought.
Author Reply: Yes, I agree. I'm sure she'll soon start to conform to Rohirric customs...

Not quite as artless as the last scenario, but still slightly naive. Loved the parallels between the story and the reality! Heh! "If I kiss you, will you turn into a princess?" No wonder she was smiling!
Author Reply: 'Kalif Storch' was one of my favourite childhood tales, so it was fun to include that into a story of my own.
