Tales from Vairë's Loom  by Fiondil 12 Review(s)
shireboundReviewed Chapter: 32 on 5/18/2011
In your heart where death cannot go, I’ll always be there.

That's lovely. This is a gentle tale, full of love and longing and great wisdom. I wish Legolas peace... and I hope the hobbits' resting places are also visited more often, and remembered with love.

Author Reply: I'm so glad you enjoyed this, Shirebound. I'm sure Legolas will find peace eventually and while the Hobbits' resting place may not be visited all that often, I'm sure they are still remembered with love by those who knew them. Thank you for taking the time to read and review. I really appreciate it.

Fun story!
I suppose Legolas really needs to talk with someone who really understands mortality - and while someone like Elrond or Olórin may be as sympathetic as you would want, they are not quite right for everything involved in his healing.
Hm. I wonder what Námo or Aulë would have said if they had been in that dell...

Author Reply: Hi Sunny. Glad you enjoyed the story. Legolas needs someone like Aragorn right now, but since he doesn't, visiting Gimli's grave is the next best thing. What Námo or Aulë would have said is anyone's guess. Thanks for reading and reviewing.
