Aw!......and I thought for sure someone would find him this time! I cannot imagine his discomfort, well Elrond to the rescue, I hope and there is always hope isn't there? Hugs Imp P.S. Once again your story is wonderful and I look forward to it everyday. Author Reply: I'm sorry to dissappoint you today, but indeed there is always hope! Thank you very much for reading and reviewing!

The cavalry is not supposed to turn away once it's served against the enemy. Now, to find their brother! They have to realize he's not far away from them! At least Earendil is wanting peace for this son of his heart. Author Reply: The cavalry apparently didn't read those instructions. If they would know... but they do not. *sigh* But hope is still there, because of who Aragorn is - he can't abandon hope, even when all hope for life died. There is still hope for peace...

If caring across the miles can be communicated, Aragorn's heart must be warmed by this, even if he knows not the source.

If caring across the miles can be communicated, Aragorn's heart must be warmed by this, even if he knows not the source. Author Reply: I believe it can, and his heart is warmed by the caring of the readers, too...

Oh sob! No, no, no! Wonderful as your description of Valinor is, he can't go there yet! I can't believe the twins missed him! You are certainly keeping the surprises coming, Mirach. Author Reply: That was not a pleasant surprise, I imagine: I felt so bad to crush the hopes that today the rescue will come when posting this chapter... Now we need a more pleasant surprise, don't you think? ;)

The sound you have just heard is my head, pounding against the keyboard. Augh!!! The twins missed him!!!! Good heavens. But it does make for wonderful Earendil angsting... that last paragraph, with his wish for dreams to take Aragorn to all the most beautiful places on Arda was so moving; I loved it. But still... get those twins turned around! I don't think I can take much more of this.... *runs to hug poor Aragorn and give him blankets and hot tea. And a leg splint.* Author Reply: Ah, do I feel intimidation from the tune of your voice? Tell it to the twins, it's them who missed him, not me! *hides behind Elrond* But it seems to me that I'm on the best way to kill my readers - some heart attacks were already reported... *g* So be careful with banging your head against solid surfaces! =) Thank you for the review, I'm glad that you liked the paragraph - I have a habit to bring myself to tears when I write, and this was such a place, so I'm glad that it was not in vain =)

Oh gosh - even though I know he is going to survive I have a lump in my throat right now. Author Reply: There you have an adventage before Earendil - he doesn't know that there is no "character death" warning in the summary... Thank you very much for the review!

I really applaud how you are maintaining the tension here and managing to bring something fresh to each chapter. Now if only those sons of Elrond would turn up! Author Reply: Thank you Inzilbeth! It was very interesting to write the story this way, and trying to tell something new with each chaper even when not much happened below... Maybe more will happen tomorrow? ;)

At last I've found the time for this story! How fascinating, to see each day only what Earendil sees, and to have his limited POV! I've always wondered what he sees and thinks as he passes over Middle-earth... Author Reply: I'm really glad that you found some time for it! Now you can watch with Eärendil... Thank you very much for the review!
