| Difficult task for Elrond but, with his sons and Vilya's help, I'm sure he will defeat the nazgul. Looking forward to the battle of their minds (hopefully Glorfindel will be there to help). | Ha! A Nazgûl! Well that's a surprise. But I knew Glorfindel was lying about something. Surprised that someone of Glorfindel's calibre could be taken over by another but maybe he was taken by surprise and didn't get his defenses up in time. It happens. | The situation is getting even worse. That the nazgul was the one controlling Glorfindel was a surprise for me (a good one). I guess that the rings and Sauron are giving them great powers. I can't wait to find out what Elrond will do next, how he will handle this dangerous situation. I also liked the connection between Glorfindel's fea and Elrond's mind (even if it was a deception). | Ouch! I'm afraid Glorfindel is going to be very sorry for what he said to poor Galaeron. Glad Elrond is finally getting a clue. Now to see how he saves our beloved Glorfi from the Darkness. | Elrond's sons should know by now that their father is the consummate healer who would offer up his own life to save another. I hope Glorfindel gets better soon and tells them what happened to them. Obviously there is an evil out there waiting.... Good chapter with lots of pathos. I really liked Erestor here. He's a very capable Elf. Author Reply: Hi Fiondil, yes I agree with you, that the twins should know, but to be aware of something and to witness it are different things, I think. And Glorfindel would not appreciate such a sacrifice either. And yes, there is evil lurking but not outside..... Anyway, I appreciate your review very much.
