What a twist to the plot! it seems Elrond was right.

Author Reply: he seldom errs and Glorfindel should have heeded the hints and been a bit suspicious. Thanks for reviewing Linda. Lai

Good heavens, what a shock for everyone! :O

Author Reply: indeed what a shock. For Elrond in being right and Glorfindel in losing all his hopes - poor guys. Thanks so much for reviewing, shirebound. Lai

Wow, interesting twist. Not unsurprising given the hints you've left but 'surprising' all the same. Thanks for your hard work on this and for a slightly longer chapter, too.

Author Reply: thank YOU for reading and reviewing. I´m glad you like the twist. I´m working on longer chapters - really. LOL! Lai

Poor Glorfindel and poor Erestor! What a wicked betrayal that was. I pity Elrond for being right in this matter. I hope Elrond deals with this matter decisively and before Glorfindel wakes up. Then again, if Glorfindel gets to confront his betrayer, then maybe he will realise he was in the wrong all this time.

Author Reply: Elrond is surely not happy in being right - again. I hope Glorfindel will now see reason and Erestor was at the wrong place at the wrong time. And all this in the face of the impending departure - not good at all. Thank you so much for reviewing, Ellie. Lai

This was indeed an unexpected turn of events! Even if Elrond hinted at some curiousity with this woman I never though it was demons. And where did the poor womans soul go?
Wheres the real Elvea gone to? I really fear for Glorfindel, what a blow for him. And just what are the Gods up to?I hope they can help our dear characters . You really gave us a stiff cliffhanger! I cant wait for the solution! Great writing!

Author Reply: I´m glad you like the dramatic twist. Elrond was right and Glorfindel blinded with old guilty feelings. Have the Gods really helped in the past? I doubt a real intervention from their side but wait and see or better read - grin. I really appreciate any review, Marianel. Thank you so much for yours. Lai

That was a hard choice for Elrond to make - let alone giving it voice to Glorfindel. I really do wonder if Glorfindel will succeed in helping her and to what end they both will finally come...

Author Reply: not easy for Elrond to make the choice while seeing the desperate situation, but what possibility is left to Glorfindel? Thanks for a really appreciated Review, Ellie. Lai

These are some difficult examinations of conscience. And even still there is no clear answer for either of them. How sad.

Author Reply: sad indeed. Both ancient elves can only wait the further outcome. No concept Elrond is appreciating. Thanks for reviewing, Ellie. Lai

As always a nice job on this. Glorfindel's choice is perfectly understandable as is Elrond's response to it. Thanks for another interesting chapter--much as I wish they were a little longer....

Author Reply: I thank YOU for a most appreciated review. Sadly my time is very limited and so the chapters are not overy long but coming in quick updates, grin.Lai

I am glad she is now able to sit up, and apparently communicate at least with Glorfindel. I am not surprised the ancient reborn Elf has chosen as he has, but empathize with Elrond for his new separation from one he has come to love deeply as if he were family.

Author Reply: understanding on both sides but Glorfindel is maybe acting a bit too blue eyed....Thanks for a most appreciated review, Larner. Lai

I am enjoying the unfolding of this mystery Lai. Glorfindel is so sure he has found his soul-mate, that she will recover and all will be well. However, even the Valar are unsure of the outcome and I trust Elrond's instincts that all is
not as it appears. Looking forward to your next update.

Author Reply: with all the joy and anxiety Glorfindel would not hurt to heed his friends bad gut. Thanks for reviewing, Tina. Lai
