Boromir loved his little ones. Sweet story. :)

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

For it was with her he would again find Home.

That is true love! I am glad that this reunion was possible.

Author Reply: I so agree, Andrea. After over five centuries of separation I do believe they both needed this reunion.

Well, the first step is already taken. And time will show Legolas that Elves and Dwarves can indeed be friends.

Author Reply: You are so right, Andrea. Thanks so!

What is the worth of an advisor if he always agrees with his Lord?

And I am quite sure that Faramir is right with his advice. He is very talented with politics and diplomacy whereas Boromir is a born warrior.

Author Reply: In his heart of hearts Denethor knew that Faramir was right; but Sauron was already doing his best to sow division and suspicion between father and his younger son and anyone else likely to speak sense to the Steward.

That is indeed a wonderful birthday blessing!

Author Reply: I suspect having been born on the Elves' New Year might have added to the blessing, myself. (Grinning!) But I'm certain that in Sam's eyes this gift was always tied to Frodo's sacrifices.

What a joyful reunion that must have been! Home indeed.

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: I so agree, Antane. They were parted for over five hundred years, after all. After her recovery from such a terrible wound and his weariness following his millenia of fighting the Shadow they needed one another to find their final healing, I believe.

Faramir is right - deal with it! *grrrr*

Author Reply: Yes, I feel that way, too! (GRIN!) Thanks, Antane.

Such a wonderful blessing for Sam!

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Oh, indeed! And he deserved it if anyone did!

Ah, bittersweet.

This could actually have been the memory of a number of heirs of Elendil, down through the years.

Author Reply: I'd not thought of that, but you are certainly right! Thanks, Lindelea!

Love this! Determined Pippin, and patient, encouraging Boromir.

Author Reply: I am certain that Pippin felt he owed a good deal to Boromir and that in the end he mourned him deeply. That he came to honor Boromir's brother as well was icing on the cake!
