Poor Frodo he's in terrible shape! And poor Pippin and Merry, they were not only injured too, but they thought they were useless to the Fellowship. I'm so glad Aragorn helped them see that it wasn't true! That soup Sam's making sounds delicious, I wouldn't mind having some myself. Cute idea too, making mittens for hobbits. I'm looking forward to the next chapter, this gets better all the time.

Author Reply: Thanks so very much, my dear. Just finished reading your fic about Merry and Pippin learning Dwarvish and laughed my butt off (not an easy thing to do). I appreciate your always being there to read and review, it means alot to know that some people, at least, are enjoying the story. Thanks so very much for your comments. tree

very glad that you updated. I have been a very bad girl indeed since I have not updated on any of my stories for about a month.

I do hope that Gandalf has something up his sleeve, and Frodo comes around soon before he ends up hurting himself further! That is not good laying in water like that, even though it is only his hair.

Author Reply: Thanks so much for reading and reviewing! It's that time of the year to be otherwise occupied, I suppose. Thank God for Author Alerts, or I'd never keep up on my favorite authors (you of course, are one of these) tree

What a lovely, gentle scene between Aragorn, Merry, and Pippin! He really boosted their self esteem (as well as insisting on some healing treatments), and I adored the bit of tickling to break the tension. I think Aragorn and Sam are going to make a wonderful team for Frodo.

Author Reply: So very glad you liked it!! I really enjoy elaborating on the other members of the Fellowship and think it adds alot to the stories to see what the other members of the team feel about Frodo and what's going on. I just want them to seem like real people, not some stiff fictional characters. It's been a long time (at least a day or two) since we spoke and I'm delighted to hear from you. I need some help on livejournal and will be contacting you probably tomorrow. Take care my friend and have a wonderous New Year...tree

Poor Frodo's in bad shape now, isn't he? I hope they others find out what's been happening to him soon. Maybe Gandalf can find a way to get it out him without him having to telling anyone. If he says anything voluntarily, that "lovely Lorelei" will destroy him no doubt. I'm on the edge of my seat (as always) waiting to see what happens next!

Author Reply: He is a hurtin', make no mistake. But after a little more torment (muhahahaha) I plan to give our favorite hobbit some much needed love and attention. Very perceptive with the Gandalf idea, I also have plans on how to deal with our "lovely Lorelei" with Gandalf's help. Christmas and art shows are robbing me of my writing time, but I will try to do something soon, I promise. Thanks for reviewing, it's appreciated. tree

Oh, the angst! I can't bear it, tree! *sob*

All right, that hobbit needs to start getting better and trusting people and finding his way back, and I mean now. Right now.

*cuddles our wee one and glares at mysterious woman who has Frodo all confused*

:)

Author Reply: Too funny! I laughed my butt off when I read your message (*not* an easy thing to do, mind you). Mysterious woman...hmmm, you must mean Lorelei, wouldn't be me....of course not. I plan to help our favorite boy figure things out, but perhaps a little more torture, yessss, that sounds like my style, doesn't it. Fear not, I love my little hobbit too much to cause any PERMANENT damage, I promise. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing....tree

Oh, no! Poor Frodo. Wonderfully written chapter though! I can't wait for more!

Author Reply: Hopefully, more will be sometime next week, but we'll have to see how that goes. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing. tree

Grrrr... I will finish this if is the last thing I do!

Sorry, friend - I have not caught up yet, but I am working my way through. Lovely (if that can be used for such a graphic hurt comfort - heheheh) tale. Keep up the good work!

Author Reply: So glad you are reading and enjoying it. I have missed you dearly, knowing that you are still there makes me feel much happier. I hope you will catch up soon, but understand that RL can be a bear even at its best. Love to you tree

Yikes! Poor Frodo was holding up so well and now this! It was a relief to see him get his medicine, even though they had to force him but I think he needs food as much as anything. I wonder how they're going get that into him if he resists? Well at least everyone knows now that something's going on. I just hope they get to the bottom of it soon so they can help Frodo get free.

Author Reply: Ah but you know me, I can't leave well enough alone...had to make it just a tad more angsty. Frodo has alot of hurt/comfort and angst to come, especially in the next chapter, which, unfortunately is only in my head at the time. I hope to have it down on paper and typed up within the week, but RL is keeping me rather occupied at the time, and unfortunately, I have to deal with it first. Thanks so very much for your review, I truly appreciate it. Take care, tree

Poor Frodo, to be hungry, but afraid to eat and drink. good old Sam to bring along some candy. Finally Gandalf knows that Frodo is being influenced by someone. looking forward to more

Author Reply: That Sam is a handy fella, isn't he? Wish I had one of him when I travel. Gandalf has been suspicious for awhile, but being the wise wizard he is, wanted to wait and see if the problems Frodo was having were due to his head injury or something more sinister. The next chapter will be pretty angsty (go figure, knowing me, right?) but there is lotsa h/c for our dear boy to come, mostly comfort. It just may be awhile before we see it. Thanks for your review, I really do appreciate it. tree

Oh, the angst! The angst! Poor Frodo with what happened in his head.

Author Reply: What can I say, I do love my angst and h/c. I promise Frodo will return to us, but not until I've played with him a bit (Muhaaaaaa) thanks for reviewing, btw I absolutely LOVE your fics (you're on my author alert list at ff.net) tree
