Biography:   I discovered the world of Tolkien after the first movie was released (I know, I know...somehow, for some reason I just never picked up the book and I think that is a tragedy as C.S. Lewis is one of my favorite authors!) and have not put it down since. I went from devouring THE LORD OF THE RINGS to reading each and every book written by Tolkien I could find (some of which I am working my way through for the second time). I teach in an elementary school in a small southeast Texas town north of Houston, and would like nothing better than to know that I somehow instilled in my classes a love of reading and perhaps later, writing. Lord knows they see me doing it all the time! I believe one of my happiest discoveries was the Stories of Arda site and its wonderful readers/authors! I am relatively new to the writing aspect of LotR, but I am enjoying it immensely!

This series starts in TA 147. Elladan and Elrohir are seventeen, Legolas is twelve. I have made one very small departure from canon, and moved Arwen’s birth forward by 100 years. This was necessary so the four can grow up together in the course of the story.
