Escape the Darkness by JULES6 |
Last Updated: 4/7/2020 |
| Update: Planning to make this one large story now - with multiple chapters (lots and lots). Fourth chapter updated 8th April 2020.
This story was began a very long time ago, and it was never my intentions to leave it unfinished. I will be going back through and editing a few scenes and adding to a few and fixing errors, now that I hopefully understand the Middle Earth world a little better. I hope to add a sprinkling of "The Hobbit" details in certain places where is needed.

Changes and Acceptances by Mirkwoodmaiden |
Last Updated: 4/4/2020 |
| It's little Elanor's birthday and all the Fellowship have travelled to the Shire to celebrate. Both Frodo and Arwen are finding their choices made during the Ring War difficult to live with. Consumed with guilt Frodo finally makes a decision. Arwen is slipping further and further away from Aragorn. A few AU elements. Angst in places, hopefully humour in others! Revised a few chapters! Hope everyone enjoys! |

The Green Knight and the Master of Esgaroth by Le Rouret |
Last Updated: 3/21/2020 |
| Esgaroth is far from Gondor, and its doings rarely affect Legolas, Lord of Dol Galenehtar, and Gimli, Lord of Aglarond. But there is a new Master in Lake Town, deceitful and divisive, sowing discord between the Elves and the Dwarves. Legolas and Gimli travel to northern Rhovanion to sort things out … and find themselves wrapped in a mystery darker than they had anticipated. *NOTE* My personal life has finally settled down, and the story will soon be finished, I promise. |

No Man's Child by anoriath |
Last Updated: 2/29/2020 |
| The Rangers of the North were few in number and the Wilds over which they ranged was vast. When Aragorn commanded they turn from their other duties to protect the Shire, who must they then leave undefended? What price then did the Dúnedain of the North pay?
As seen through the eyes of a woman of the Lord of the Dúnedain’s house, this is an attempt at a tale of the Northlands in the years of Aragorn’s efforts to preserve the Free Peoples of Middle Earth.

Last Gift of Lasgalen by Mirkwoodmaiden |
Last Updated: 1/24/2020 |
| Written for the Teitho Challenge: Cold (November-December 2019) Thranduil comes back to his halls after a retreat among the trees of his kingdom in Mirkwood and receives the tragic news that his wife, Lasgalen has been killed by Orcs. Young Legolas is now missing after hearing about his naneth’s death. I don't really say what happened to Lasgalen, but I do hint at it hence the PG-13 rating. |

| After a hiatus years in length I have come back to Stories of Arda to share and read! I reworked this story because I never felt it ended quite right.
A companion piece to "The Heir Apparent." It is the anniversary of the day Celebrian took ship for the West for five hundred years Elrond has shared the pain of that loss with very few.
On this particular anniversary Elrond shares his grief and finds compassion from a source close to his hearth and home. |
