This was inspired by the essay I wrote awhile back called "Ring-bearers, Aging and Life in Aman" and found here under "GamgeeFest's Musings." In it, I debated the likelihood of Frodo living long enough to be reunited with Sam in the West and concluded that it was quite unlikely. This story is based on that conclusion. |
